I never needed a lawyer before. Now, thank God, I found one to keep for life. Ideal Attorney. Ideal Outcome. I don’t write many reviews, but occasionally something so first-rate happens I feel compelled to share with others as karma for my gratitude. This is a “grade A” testimonial to the law firm L. Patrick Mulligan & Associates, LLC and in particular my attorney Brad Moremond and his amazing paralegal Amy) I was charged with multiple drug related felonies and misdemeanors. I was taken to jail overnight but granted bail the following afternoon. I was facing a total life-change! with a whole career loss, prison, and God knows what else. Depression and fear took over, but I got on with my massive research and interviewed dozens of lawyers. I have some college in criminal law so I had some sense of what to look for. So many flakey attorneys who sounded like used-car pitches, I eventually found Patrick Mulligan. (even a family member in law enforcement was aware they do very well at defense).I was immediately connected to Brad, who ultimately saved my life! He was very confident, calming, patient, knowledgeable and most of all… “on my side- not his”. My fears started melting after just that first call with him. Jumping forward, everything was dismissed in the end! No probation even. Most other lawyers were seeing a 3 year probation as a possible success if that. Brad didn’t even want that for me and he proactively steered me away from a would-be constant nuisance. He represented me a few times to the court without me even being there. He is extremely knowledgeable on the law (and shockingly many lawyers are not actually), but also the specific court systems, and the actual people- the prosecutors, the judges, and personally knows the players. He has solid experience as both a prosecutor and a defender! He used his relationships to kind of argue the case behind the scenes and reach agreements for me. I am so thankful! I have to tell you even the judge herself- said to me at my final appearance- “I hope you know you are lucky you have a fantastic lawyer- he did an amazing job for you” That is literally what she said. I was shocked to hear a judge say that - but it was the truth indeed. I could see the prosecutor also respected Brad and had a good working relationship with him. Obviously, I can’t recommend him and the firm enough!

Excellet job. Easy to work with and everything went as planned. Recommend to anyone with a OVI/DUI case.

They did an excellent job defending me. Amy explained everything in the process thoroughly which helped the stress level of what I was going through remain low. Brad went above and beyond to make sure I was represented to the highest level and got me a more than fair outcome of the entire situation. He even called me after everything was over to see how I was doing and to make sure I was still satisfied with the outcome of what happened. I had never been through what I went through and they did a great job making me feel secure and protected, I would highly recommend them to anyone in need.
