We recently used Maria and her firm to assist our family with estate planning documents for my parents. Maria was terrific to work with. She explained everything and was very transparent about the process and setting expectations around costs and a timeline. She was extremely empathetic in working directly with my parents. She is a great estate planning lawyer and a genuinely nice human being, we really enjoyed working with her and would highly recommend her.

Maria thoroughly explained every step of the process to me as I had no idea what to do. During a horribly sad time, Maria alleviated the heavy burden of handling a loved one’s estate. I hope to not need her services again any time soon, but when I do I will not hesitate to contact Maria.

My wife and I came to do our estate planning (my wife was very nervous about doing this.). I had tried to get her to do on this on numerous occasions. What a surprise it truly was for my wife as well as myself as Maria Shinn led us through all the particulars with such grace and great expertise in performing her services.
