For anyone considering hiring this firm for divorce representation, I highly encourage you to reconsider. Upon retaining them for my own proceeding, I had thought I was hiring the best in Cleveland. In every aspect I felt I was under-represented and there was a complete disregard for communication and explanation of processes. Unanswered emails, phone calls never returned, attempts to reach out to senior partners (that never responded) to try and resolve matters. In short, I can only say that as one of the most stressful situations you will face in life, it is my opinion that you will only be compounding that stress in hiring this firm. A truly disappointing experience.

People try to find lawyer because they need help. They have a income guideline, $60,000 a year. If I have a child and need the child support, isn't obvious I don't make that kind of money. Especially while in school. Terrible. Layers just don't care anymore

Such an incredible workplace filled with the best attorneys in Cleveland. I could not imagine working for anyone else, and I am so grateful for the opportunity to learn and practice from the top percentages of lawyers in Ohio.

Their website says: “you will receive the same level of service we would expect if we were in your place.” As an attorney, I can tell you that Jason Winter delivers on this promise. Jason’s legal representation is top-notch and thorough and he and his associate attorney (Jenna Colucci) kept me informed and advised at every turn. Jason is raising the bar to what great legal representation should be. Thank you, Jason.

I have waited a very long time to write this review, primarily because I felt writing it immediately following my divorce would allow for too many emotions to enter into the review. Almost 18 months later I am just as unhappy with the quality and service that I received from this law firm. If you don't want to read the whole review, here's the summary - DON'T USE THIS FIRM, RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN TO ANOTHER. Throughout my case I struggled to communicate with my lawyer - to excess. I would reserve time from my schedule to talk only to receive no call at the scheduled time, or any time after. Often I would get an excuse that she was in court or something came up, but I never received an apology for this behavior. I would send countless text messages (was told this was more effective than email), dozens of emails, dozens of voicemails to desk and cellphones and they all went unanswered, yet somehow billed for the receipt of them... This happened so much that I actually had to request a conversation with Andrew Zashin himself who only made excuses for her behavior, and he only agreed to meet with me after I expressed in an email directly to him that I would not only never recommend his law firm, but that I would actively discourage people from using it. He seemed very put-off by my position and I believe he took the meeting only to defend his firm and attorney and less to actually listen to what I had to say and attempt to correct the conditions. Here I am 18 months later and still dealing with the final division of assets through the QDRO process and the ONLY way I can get an answer from anyone is to go around my attorney and directly to the paralegal who has been handling my case. She is the only reason that I gave a star, she is responsive and actually owns the communication process, were it not for her I would have given no stars if possible. Divorce is an ugly matter, and often times very stressful for both parties regardless of how amicable it may or may not be between the two. Those who employ the services of lawyers should be met with compassion and respect, especially when paying upwards of $400/hr for services. If you wish to have a congenial experience with your attorney, have effective negotiations, and receive respect for your time as a client - I STRONGLY suggest you look elsewhere, I found none of those at this law firm.
