He talks the talk, but does not walk the walk. My case was stupid, but nonetheless I hired him to represent me so I didn't have to deal with the nonsense my ex was starting. I paid the retainer, with zero issues but that was my first mistake. I barely heard from him, he never updated me on the case, and come to find out it was dismissed. Did he call to let me know? Nope. He also paid only about half of the court costs out of the retainer leaving me with the rest of the bill. Thanks buddy! I would not recommend this guy to anyone.

Do NOT hire Rick, he is as bad as they come. Rick, like’s to tell you all the thing’s he is going to do to help with your case, to charge ridiculous retainer rate’s, only to ignore and neglect his duties as an attorney. He will not communicate with you, in regards to your case, he will not prepare for your hearing’s, he will not abide by deadline’s and when you confront Rick, he will act surprised that anything is wrong, even after you have attempted to communicate with him for day’s, wk’s, mnth’s. The only thing I can gaurantee about Rick is, he WILL fail you & your case in every aspect.

I hired Mr. Stahl for my divorce. Due to the opposing council's lack of experience in family law and COVID, things took a lot longer than I anticipated. Rick always made me feel confident that he had mine and my daughter's best interest at heart. He is very easy to talk to and in return, helped me keep emotionally composed when I was ready to break. The only issue I had was a few times of frustration as he can be a tough guy to get ahold of. He is confident, knowledgeable, and understands how difficult of a time a divorce can be. I appreciate his hard work and dedication to getting my case resolved.

Run, run as fast as you can away from this firm. I hired Richard Stahl to handle a fairly easy divorce. 7 months later all I have to show for the experience is a rough draft of a Seperation Agreement. He doesn't return emails or phone calls to either myself or to my spouse's attorney. When I confronted him about all this he tried to put the blame on me. When you are going through the roughest time in your life you need an attorney you can count on. One who is responsive to your needs and works diligently on your behalf. In my experience, Richard Stahl is not that attorney. What a costly mistake! Richard you should be ashamed!!!!

In the two cases Rick handled for me he proved to be a talented lawyer with sound integrity. He is a straight talker, good writer (which is a bonus for appeals), and he is not greedy. I appreciated him explaining the judicial process and giving me all of my options. I found it best to make appointments to communicate while preparing the case; but, when the time approached for the cases to be heard, the emails passed between us frequently. In both cases, his legal prowess effected success for me and that is why I am giving him a five-star review. He was voted by his peers as "A Rising Star," well, that's because Rick is everything you need and want in a lawyer.

Mr. Stahl is an expert in his field; he is confident, knowledgable, understanding, honest, helpful, intelligent, and very professional when it all comes to dealing with his clients. There are no hidden bumps in the case of which he may not predict or be aware of ahead of time. He is informative, patient and does his work full heartedley and sincerely! Finding a great lawyer as Richard was a blessing from God. No case is tough for him, simply because he is the best!!!

Richard helped me tremendously with my divorce case. My ex-wife thought we could handle our divorce without using attorneys - yea right. I knew that was a bad idea. My ex-wife wanted everything, which I figured she would, and I believe hiring Rick helped me get a good settlement. My main focus, other than the support payments, was keeping my son near me and Rick made sure that happened.

Rick is outstanding and certainly bucks the "lawyer" sterotype. He's very straightforward but also shows a great deal of care and concern. He talks with you instead of at you and treats you like a person not just another case. I felt I received the best possible outcome due to Ricks knowledge, experience and professionalism.

Rick took an active interest in my case and helped calm and reassure me when my ex tried to take my daughter away after 9 years of me having residential custody. Not only have I known him through mutual friends, but also as acting acting Legal Counsel for a court case last year.
