I need a refund for services not rendered. I was told constantly to give paperwork and records that I had already given them, the lawyer was rude and unhelpful. I need my money back.

Please don't give these people your money. I started services with them for a lawsuit against me. I was contacted by someone from their office claiming they could help me. They said i could pay them biweekly from my bank account, which i did. At no point did i ever receive any updates about my case. The only time i heard anything it was when they wanted to ask for more money. the court contacted me and I would have to contact amourgis and associates to only have them lie and ask for more money. Odly there was a court date set for the day i chose to end services with them and just found out about the court date and the judgement against me a week later. Do your research please before deciding to work with amougis and associates.

I was a defendent in a divorce case. My situation was not straightforward as I am not a US citizen. I was assigned to Attorney Vizmeg after initial consultation. At the outset, I found him quite frank and he clarified a lot of expectations at the first meeting. During follow ups, his status letters were especially helpful. One one hand, he is a seasoned attorney with exceptional professional demeanour; on the other, perhaps more importantly, he is a compassionate fellow being. He endowed with qualities such as veracity, spiritedness and, not the least, lightheartedness (if demanded by situation). I am thankful that I met him, worked with him and settled the matters. May all good things come your way.

Don’t use these “lawyers” unless you have to. They hand you off to legal assistants who do t respond to you. Once you pay their fees (upfront) they have zero incentive to actually help you. They barely negotiate and you will end up paying close to what you owe. They do nothing to get items removed from your credit report when negotiating settlements. After the agreement good luck getting ahold of them to explain how to make payment. Awful service stay away.

Heather Early has been a great asset - she is knowledgeable - smart - and caring - looking out for me in all situations- I never thought this process would be easy - but she made me feel better along the way - Cordell is a go to organization!!! Hats off !!!!

I did not have a good experience with this law firm. During the initial consultation, I was told they could pursue one particular avenue that would be very advantageous to me. After this conversation, I signed the paperwork and was assigned two attorneys (I did not realize I would be paying two people to do one job). They would hold regular "meetings" and bill me for their time. The notes of these meetings were very vague and did not explain specifically what they discussed and the direction they planned to take. When I asked about the frequency and the lack of detail pertaining to what they discussed and/or their upcoming strategy, I was told that these meetings were a little more frequent than most and the lack of clarity/detail was how they did things. I go the impression that they didn't want to be questioned and that I should just let them do their job. After questioning them directly about two particular items, I was told by both attorneys that they couldn't pursue either one. The issue I had was that each of their "meeting" summaries had both of these topics listed. I didn't understand why they kept making this a topic of conversation and charging me when I was told nothing could be done about them. In the end, I paid over $6k and the only change that occurred happened when they requested the court review some payments (which were never in question) and they found a mistake that ended with me paying more out of pocket. It's my opinion that they didn't have anything to work with on my case from the initial consultation but took it anyway. Then they proceeded to hold meetings and continue to bill me to meet their billable hour quotas. There was no accountability and I was basically writing a blank check.

Heather was a great attorney in our adoption case. She communicated regularly and really cared about our situation. Going through the legal system is never ideal and she made it much more pleasant. I would absolutely recommend her and Cordell.

Attorney Paskert was a great supporter throughout my case. His diplomatic style served very well throughout the whole process, including the outcome. All details of the case were well communicated and I received answers to all inquiries in a very timely fashion.
