Right from the start James struck me as the competent attorney I was in search of. At our first consultation before even hiring James he was already prepared and familiarized himself with my case information. I walked into his office with anxiety about my case and walked out with peace of mind. He and his secretary Alison were nothing but pleasant to work with throughout the entire process of my case. In October 2024 I was charged with felony drug possession after being pulled over in a traffic stop. I wanted and needed a lawyer that was willing to fight for me. James did exactly that! My charges were eventually dropped dismissed thanks to James. I couldn’t be more satisfied with the outcome of my case. Having to choose again, I would hire him without hesitation. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a competent and professional attorney who gets results.

Absolutely incredible attorney. Little tricky finding it but well worth the effort. This guy actually cares about his clients and will defend you like he would his own mother.

Jim did a great job from the day I retained him. It was a difficult situation I got myself in. He worked hard on my case and got me as good a deal as I could ask for. I referred a felonious assault case (with several other serious charges) to attorney Jim Owen. I watched him defend the case at trial -- a masterful defense. NOT GUILTY on all charges! No choice I have to give 1 star because not let me give a rate nothing worth it for them I had bunch of proof for my case my ex wife called the police I was in California she didn’t know I was there I showed them all proof they didn’t want to go trial paid a lot of money you can’t believe how much was it still put me 2 years on probation I swear I could do it better than them
