I had the pleasure of working with Daniel Bryant on my first dental employment contract. Mr. Bryant made an overwhelming process very easy and did an excellent job negotiating a fair deal. A friend who had just had his employment contract drafted by Dan referred him to me with great enthusiasm, as I too needed somebody to look over my soon-to-be employer's standard contract. I contacted Dan via email initially, to which he almost immediately responded, setting up a time to call that worked for both of us to discuss what I needed in detail. On the phone, Dan made an effort to get to know who he was working with, which was nice considering I didn't have much legal experience before this. He then asked me what it was that I truly wanted at the from this job, at the end of the day. Before speaking to Dan, I didn't really understand what the dynamic was between a prospective employee and an office worked, so having him guide me through what-and how much-to negotiate was instrumental. Throughout the redrafting process, Dan told me to not worry about things that seemed daunting and answered as best he could any time I called. He struck a fine balance between getting what I wanted and maintaining a respectful and reasonable negotiation with the office I now work for. To top the experience off, his fee was very fair and well-defined. It was reassuring to feel so supported throughout my hiring process.
