If you have any issues, these guys are the people. They helped me out so much, even after asking them million of questions and clarifications, they always answered them professionally and honestly.

We spoke with Leslie about a year ago on an issue. It was not something we needed to move forward with at the time, but she gave us great advice and everything played out as she believed it would. She is very knowledgeable and generous with her time. You can tell she really loves what she is doing and is doing it for the right reasons. I would highly recommend working with her.

In January I had to attend a graduate studies committee hearing at Ohio State in order to contest a score that I had received on my program’s comprehensive exam. I was only informed a couple of weeks before the hearing that I would be allowed to have a lawyer present with me in the room. I had called around to many different firms, but many of them said they either lacked the expertise or had a conflict of interest and wouldn’t be able to help me. I was then referred to Albeit Weiker, LLP. After a very pleasant and straightforward conversation with a paralegal, I was put in touch with Leslie Albeit. I had a short initial consultation with Leslie where she decided that she would be able to provide legal services. She looked over my initial opening statement and made nuanced corrections and suggestions that helped me feel more confident while I was presenting it at the hearing. Additionally, she accompanied me to the hearing with only a week’s notice on a very cold February morning. She prepped me before the hearing and then accompanied me to the hearing and provided suggestions for things I should say during the hearing. I received a verdict that the exam’s score would be voided, and I would be allowed to take it again. On my next attempt, I passed the exam and will now be receiving my master’s degree because of it. Leslie was instrumental in helping me through the process of the hearing. She analyzed the school’s specific policies and provided incredibly professional and helpful advice throughout the entire process. On the day of, when she helped brief me and accompanied me to the meeting, she was focused, helpful, and empathetic which was exactly what I needed. I cannot recommend her and her firm’s services enough.

Albeit Weiker, LLP is the firm you need when you have an education related issue. Mark specifically represented our daughter (and family), but Mark, Leslie and Lauren are all amazing! we felt as if they were part of our family. We knew that, even when things were looking down, we had the best people representing us. We were right!
