I personally worked with Mr. Tamas Tabor and he did an amazing job! My hearing was an extremely long and drawn out process (mainly due to Covid-19) but he got in there and got all charges dismissed. I couldn’t have been more happy with his help and would definitely recommend him to any and everyone! I had some very extreme anxieties about the whole process and every time that I spoke with Tamas, he made me feel 110% better! We hired a lawyer from the firm, Tamas, after I had been in a car accident that turned fatal and had the chance of having criminal charges pressed against me for it. Tamas was so helpful in protecting me and seeing that I got the best outcome possible from the situation which was no charges, and he did just that. As an out of state defendant, I was very nervous about how my case would be dealt with and what options were available to me. I was very nervous about going to jail and having a felony on my record. My case didn’t have many options aside from a plea deal or a diversion program of some sort, so I was looking for an attorney to negotiate the best outcome for me. I sought out an Attorney after having a search warrant served and all my electronic devices removed from my home. My first reaction was that my world was over once it was known to my job, friends and loved ones that I viewed Child Pornography. I was full of shame and guilt. I would eventually be charged with several felony charges for pandering sexually oriented material involving a minor. Before I was officially charged 10 months later, I had searched the internet for an Attorney that had very good reviews and who had dealt with clients with the same charges as mine. I spoke with Mr. Joslyn on the phone and we made an appointment for consultation. He was the most compassionate, understanding and nonjudgmental person and I knew this is who I wanted to represent and help me with my charges. Initially I was suicidal; even recklessly attempting to commit suicide. Speaking to Brian, I was comforted in knowing that there is life after this unfortunate type of situation and that there was help. Suicide is not the answer. Brian strongly encouraged me to start going to meetings for Sex Addicts and sent me to a forensic Psychiatrist. Brian told me “You take care of yourself and work on feeling better mentally and emotionally and let me worry about your case”. I took his recommendations and dedicated myself to attending Sex Addicts Anonymous meetings and began one on one therapy with a Sex Addiction / Offender Therapist. Through this process and my journey, Brian continued to support me and encourage me to keep doing what I was doing. He kept me informed and it helped ease my mind; knowing that he was diligently working on my case. He showed genuine concern for my wellbeing. He truly wanted to see that I get and continue to receive the help I needed and that I leave the rest to him. Fast forward to today. I was officially charged with 5 felony 2s pandering sexually illicit material involving a minor. Brian was able to get that reduced to 2. His summary was detailed and educational. His courtroom presentation was staggering to watch.  He had supplied to the judge articles and research on the effects of addiction to pornography and how it can lead down a very dark road. The Judge had stated that he had “learned a lot” from Brian’s summary letter. This is a huge win because as I now know, this is a misunderstood and stigmatic problem that can stem from an addiction to mainstream pornography. The mere fact that he was able to educate a respected, intelligent Harvard Graduate Judge, speaks volumes on his part. I ended up with 3 years’ probation and sex offender registration. It was a very big win. No jail or prison time. I continue to take Brian’s suggestions and continue to work the program of Sex Addicts Anonymous in addition to working one on one with my Sex Offender Therapist. I am so thankful to Brian for his suggestions, his compassion and his understanding. His support and determination in making sure I was well holistically while defending me whole heartedly has meant so much to me. I’m proud to call Brian Joslyn my attorney and my friend.
