I reached out to the Joslyn Law Firm when I needed immediate help for my 3rd OVI I was convicted of. Ryan Shafer was very professional in handling my case and put my mind at ease. I could tell he's done a lot of these and that I was in good hands. Ryan's paralegal Mackenzie Burse kept me in the know when any new information was discovered about my case and did a great job responding to my questions quickly and informatively. The outcome of my case was more than I could ask for with no jail time and a 3 day class. To Brian, Bess, and team: Being in my mid 40’s and never being in any trouble in my adult life, last year I made the biggest mistake of my life and ended up getting arrested for it. Even more unsettling, was the fact that I was working temporarily in OH, and I didn’t know anyone with the resources to help me. Once I got out of jail, my family and I were referred a few attorneys. We researched the three law firms and decided the Joslyn Law Firm was our choice. I made the first call and was directed to Brian‘s paralegal (Bess), she and I briefly discussed my situation, and then she said that Brian would be following up with me very soon. Honestly, I was surprised that Brian personally returned my call the same day, and again we knew that we had made the right choice. After talking with Brian for a while about my case, he decided that he would be able to help me and I hired him. To say that the outcome was a miracle for me and my family is an understatement. Brian worked with the court and had my charges reduced from three felonies to one misdemeanor, with a chance in one year to get the misdemeanor expunged. Prior to my court date, I completed over the minimum required community service hours given and completed an online anger management course. I was still very nervous while waiting for my court date. But Brian delivered on his word, and got me the same deal that he told me. This outcome was a life-changing event for me in many ways, in which I feel I can never repay Brian and his team for. The outcome changed my working career, kept me from going to jail, and changed my overall well being. Reflecting back, my family and I made the right choice. Talking one on one with Brian anytime, felt more like talking to a friend, than talking to my attorney helping me out of the worst decision of my life. Likewise, anytime that I called Brian’s office to speak with Bess (Brian’s paralegal), she answered the phone EVERYTIME that I called and either explained the answers to my questions, or referred to Brian and got back with me immediately. I would recommend Brian, Bess and their entire team to anyone that has found themselves in trouble, is unaware of how the court system works, needs honest feedback, and is ultimately looking for RESULTS! Brian is extremely knowledgeable of the law, his team works diligently, cares for their clients and delivers results!

One of the scariest times of my life Brian Joslyn was awesome. He helped me through a pre-trial investigation where I was accused of a very serious crime. The first thing I did was find the best lawyer in Ohio, and everything pointed to him. He told me that he would try to get the case dismissed before it got to a grand jury, and that’s exactly what he did. I can’t thank him enough.

Poor communication and uncoordinated between staffs. I got a call for information I already gave them early in the morning and none of the attorneys were available so they were gonna call me back in an hour. It's been more than that. That was poor judgement and lack of basic transparency. Can't trust a firm like that. I'm good.

Tamas tabor is the best! I had a few court appearances and each time they offered me a deal he explained everything good and didn’t pressure me to take anything I didn’t want to. He made me feel confident in turning down offers to get the outcome I truly wanted which was to have everything dropped. He was able to get this outcome for me with ease and just made everything look easy. Luke was also super helpful and made things very easy.
