Tamas Tabor is the best. He took care of a serious issue I had. He makes time to listen to the situation, he takes time out to listen to ideas, and really works with you. Tomas speaks very well, he can take a breath and compile 3 paragraphs worth of information and say it eloquently in 2 sentences. He was totally professional and curious during the whole process, and was upfront about outcomes to be aware of. The folks he works with at the office were always so nice and quick to respond and send information. I was totally fortunate to have found them.

Jennifer Springer was my attorney in an adoption case. My son’s stepmother wanted to adopt him I lost no rights to him and did not want her to adopt him. We went to court and months past I hear nothing I called Jennifer several times she said she had heard nothing but would call when she did. I had to find out through child support my son had been adopted and it had been done for over a month at this point. I called Jennifer her secretary said she would return my calls and didn’t still I have heard nothing from her. She hadn’t the respect to tell me he had been adopted. I don’t know if it was open or a closed adoption I don’t know the reason why he was adopted I’m a living mother who fought to keep her child and had never lost my rights to him I am confused as to how this could happen and the attorney I paid a lot of money to won’t even speak to me now. My opinion this law firm is worthless or they would see that their attorneys do their jobs to the end and not just quit once they are paid. I don’t recommend this firm to anyone.

It all started with lies and deception and ended with condescension and lack of accountability. After my complaint made it to ownership they pulled the old “ I’m a misogynist” card yet my attorney was an incompetent male that has been with the firm for many years. This less those law firm has no business helping people because it’s all about the money for them. In addition they don’t finish the job if a client gives facts on a review. Next step is calling the bar association.

Ryan Shafer is the man!

My son turned 18 and two weeks later was accused of a crime. I chose this law firm after reading reviews, so thought it best to be candid with mine. Based on reviews it seems questions get answered. I’m left to wonder if that depends on who you are and how they feel about you personally rather than if you paid the same bill everyone else did. At the beginning of the process I was adamant to clear my sons name and was encouraged by the attorney to get any information I could. The police did zero investigating so as advised I did. I rode around, looked for cameras, talked to people, and ultimately found 2 independent witnesses that confirmed my sons story. There was no effort to utilize these witnesses even after I was told they could be subpoenaed. If there was an effort, it was not communicated to us. Instead we were asked to pay an additional $500 for an investigator who did absolutely nothing. In fact, she never contacted us. We were asked by the attorney several times had we heard from her and the answer was always no. When we asked had he received an update or information from her the answer was always no. I talked to two people who saw the entire incident play out confirming my sons story, and who confirmed not a single police officer attempted to investigate what actually happened. We went from being excited about this to having an investigator who did nothing and a lawyer who didn’t seem interested in knowing why when he is the one who told us to pay her. I’m still bothered by this and can’t help but wonder if the outcome could have been different for my son has more been done to utilize these witnesses. This was a very stressful and scary time. Every time I had a question or wanted an update I was made to feel I was being a pest. At one point, in the middle of “ investigation” and court date approaching, I was seemingly being ignored with questions going unanswered, come to find out the attorney was on vacation and out of the country. I still don’t understand why this wasn’t shared with us (so that I knew not to call or text), instead I was left to feel like I shouldn’t have been calling or texting. It was at or around this time we switched attorneys. The switch was not at my request, which further leads me to believe my expectation of communication (per initial conversation with Brian) throughout the process was pestering to the first attorney. I am not sure how much effort was put in to trying to free my son of charges. Due to everything that had already transpired with the investigation and witnesses, my son had no faith that he could possibly win at trial. He took a deal. Albeit a wonderful deal, I can’t help but wonder how things could have been. Fast forward to now. I can’t get a reply from Bess or Brian on a serious matter they know they left my son hanging on that was based on a decision my son made due to Brian’s recommendation. I also can’t get an answer on if my sons charge can be expunged when I think in the beginning we were told it could be and that they’d help. These are serious and important questions as far as I am concerned. I’ve sent several emails over several months trying to get help with these two things. All my attempts have been ignored. It seems I paid the same tab, but don’t get the same pristine level of care, communication, and response to questions as those in the other reviews. Reviews I counted on to help me make the decision on this law firm. So, I felt it important to share for the next person who may be like me and looking at reviews to help guide their decision. I’d like to note that Mrs. Joslyn is a God send. She was sweet, kind, and great with communication. If my review was only on her and the billing process it’d be a 5 star.
