My 87 year old mother's retirement accounts were stolen by her financial advisor who is a member of our family. I initially tried to recover her funds by appealing to his employer with hardly an acknowledgement from them -even though he was fired, tried in federal court and incarcerated. We even had an evidence binder gathered from a friend who does investigative work for the government and knew that the other two victims had been repaid.Next, we went through a local attorney and after lots of excuses got a "we're not responsible" letter one year after our initial contact. I then spent months filing a claim through the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau with no success at all.Thankfully, another attorney referred me to Meyer Wilson and after a little research I contacted them immediately. My now 91 year old mother is thrilled with her settlement because she "never expected to get anything Back" Our family has been threw a difficult situation and although forgiveness has been offered, some emotional wounds still exist. A part of our healing has been ,with the help of Meyer Wilson, recovering at least some of the funds that my mother worked so hard for. For that we will always be thankful.
