I worked with attorneys Jefferson Yates and Erika Smitherman for my child custody case. I had already spent two and a half years with another attorney who failed miserably. The case was complicated and prolonged by a non-responsive and just plain ignorant opposing counsel. Jefferson was resilient and did not waver. He and Erika achieved the outcome I had desired and I could not be happier with my decision to retain their firm. My case involved my rotating schedule (firefighter schedule of 24 on/48 off) and my past attorney could never understand it. Jefferson and Erika are very familiar with these schedules and fought to ensure that I had a visitation schedule that mirrored my work schedule. Immediately I will say after 1 consultation with Ronald Petroff, I was so much more confident in my position as a defendant in my custody case. I didn't get a fair trial my first time around with Fairfield County court's, so that's when I hired Attorney Petroff and his team, and he came and gave it 150%, and I got a fair trial this time with his help and I couldn't be happier with the results.
