Absolutely fantastic experience working with Mr. Porter on a very difficult tax situation that resulted from an unexpected death in the family. Mr. Porter sat down with us and listened to our situation and then explained to us our options in a professional, courteous and concise manner. When we retained him, Mr. Porter immediately filed with the IRS and took over all correspondence with them which was a huge relief to us. I was applying for a green card in 2015 for marriage. My husband (a US citizen) and I (from China) contacted Mr. Porter in February I guess, we set up a meeting in his office and got a brief idea of what is needed and then we spent some time preparing materials he suggested, such as photos and paper work (lease, tax return etc). We also filled the official forms (don't remember the exact name, but the one submitted to emigration). We then set up a second meeting and he examined all the materials we prepared and helped us checked the form and made sure we got all the materials needed and everything was correct. He then submitted all the materials to Emigration in April, and I got my green card in July, which in my opinion is super fast. The best part about the experience is all the mail that I got from Emigration is also sent to him, so I never need to worry that I miss any important letter or notice, which is really helpful to me since I paranoid a lot about this type of thing.

The process for my H-1B visa wasn’t easy, but Mr. Porter knew exactly what to do to get the visa approved. Thanks to Mr. Porter, I got my work visa and now, I’m planning to get my GREEN CARD!
