I just wrapped up a very long, expensive divorce. It wasn't expensive because of my representation, but rather the numerous issues related to divorcing someone that was labeled "high conflict." Rather than go into details that would end up with the individual trying to sue me, I will focus on the positives. There were plenty of times I wanted to get in the mud and roll around with the people on the opposite side of the court room from us. Jeff advised me at every turn to take the high road and to let the truth speak for itself. It was frustrating for me, as I imagine it would be for anyone to sit back and listen to lie after lie, and harassment after harassment. Jeff's advice was correct and I listened as best as I could. Although we didn't get everything we wanted for the most part we won. It had very little to do with me and a lot to do with Jeff and his experience, as well as current knowledge set of family law. I am a male, I went through the Licking County Court System and we "won" (as much as one can "win" in a divorce), and we did it in a fashion that I could hold my head up high afterwards.
