He had me in tears when I was the victim of domestic violence. I was afraid of him. Gave him thousands up front; case got dropped and I never received a penny back. Glad to see he finally went to far and the law caught up with him. Bad news.

I dont see why these people have such a problem with john. He did my fathers divorce and totally hooked him up. He got everything including custody of my little sister. He did my custody case for my daughter and not only did I win but her mother doesn't even have visitation. I just rehired him to handle my next custody case for my son and I'm confident I can win with him. If you need a lawyer in elyria ohio then you could do a lot worse. He walks into the courthouse like he owns the place hugging on all the ladies who work there and is friends with all the guys. Yea his office may be slow at returning calls sometimes but its only because they are so busy. And busy is a good thing because it means a lot of people like to use him since he is good. I would definately recommend him.

Horrible lawyer. I wish I would have seen this review before hiring this clown. He never would return calls even when you tell his staff it is very time sensitive. Could not care less about your case and always wants money upfront. He does not keep you informed on status of case, upcoming court appearances, or even forwards you legal documents. You are better off defending yourself than using this guy. He is probably too old to be working because he lacks energy and purpose.

We lived 17 months out of our home....in limbo..out of boxes. Our case was dismissed without predjudice because this law firm did not do their job. We had a year to refile but could not handle any more. Mr. Haynes is a wonderful man, but we feel takes on way tooooo many cases to do justice to any one of them. His office staff is very rude and made you feel you were a bother.

At first seemed like he would really be helpful. Then he never returned phone calls, was not informed of court dates, hearings, etc. Office staff rude. Would like to have a refund.
