Professional and courteous.

Lisa has her priorities straight. She works extremely hard for her clients, is deeply intelligent, and genuinely cares about doing what she can for justice in a broken system. She is not afraid to speak her mind, and has a low bulls*** tolerance; so I understand why some ex-clients maybe didn’t want to hear her what she had to say. Their loss, a scrappy New Yorker in the Midwest isn’t gonna be everyone’s cup of tea, but she is the fighter you want in your corner when the water gets hot. Most importantly; she will not waste your money and is as honest as they come in a field notoriously full of liars. She keeps impeccable records of her time spent, and can justify every cent. I worked for her for years, and hired her on a few occasions. I cannot recommend this woman highly enough.

Don’t waste your money. She didn’t do paperwork she was supposed to for my divorce and cost me a lot. I had proof the other pretty lied and she brushed it off and let the other party walk all over me. I was informed later I should have sued her for incompetence however to much time had passed. She cusses constantly and is not professional.

You are better off defending yourself. I had the wonderful experience of Lisa Miller as my attorney during a DNA case in Putnam County from 2018-2019. I eventually fired her due to her lack work on my case, unapproachable and hostile demeanor, and inability to be effective as an attorney. The only regret I have is not dismissing her sooner. Take my advice and decline her appointment as your attorney by the courts or hire someone else.

Very biased. Cannot remove her personal experiences from her cases. Shared her personal history & behaviors as reason in my case to explain away behaviors. This GAL judged me before speaking to me and at times acted like the prosecutor. Her erratic behaviors were called out by my attorneys in court.

From day one she walked me through the process and discussed the possible outcomes. Every step of the way I was confident that she would get the resolution I needed. I told her upon first meeting that I never needed a lawyer in my life but I know that if I ever do again she will be my first call. Words do not do justice to how happy I am with her resolve.
