I do not recommend Mary Beth Fisher for any family law matters. She allowed ongoing abuse from my children’s father and often dismissed serious concerns, even laughing them off during joint meetings. She would yell, interrupt, provide false information, and talk over others, then go unresponsive for months before sending invoices for her “services.” Instead of mediating conflicts, she added to the past trauma and made biased decisions that did not benefit the children. I’m sharing this to help others avoid a similar experience.

As a school administrator, I have worked with numerous child custody attorneys and parenting coordinators, but my past experience with Mary Beth Fisher has compelled me to write my first negative review. My intention is to protect children and the families involved in future cases.
Mary Beth Fisher contacted our school regarding a student's tardiness, which was well within district policy, and attempted to disparage the child’s mother, who has consistently demonstrated herself to be a dedicated parent and an active volunteer within our school community for many years.
The call seemed more like a venting session, where she frequently deviated from the relevant information. She generated stress to the family and our staff and the call served no constructive purpose. She also sought to alienate a well-liked child without any justifiable cause, merely asserting that she had the right to contact us.
A more appropriate approach would have been to consult our school policy online, which would have clearly shown there were no issues warranting such negative attention from her. Instead, she chose to misuse her position as a court-appointed representative to intimidate parents, teachers, administration, and, most regrettably, the child involved.
My primary concern is always the well-being of our students. Our school intervenes in co-parenting situations when we believe a child is in danger, at risk or when school policy has been violated—none of which was applicable in this instance. Instead, Ms. Fisher used the call to intimidate and engage in unfounded gossip, questioning our well-established policies and the integrity of those involved.
The end result of the call with Mary Beth Fisher, along with several meetings with teachers, counselors and parents, was that there was no reason to have engaged everyone in the first place and no further action needed.
I cannot, in good conscience, recommend Mary Beth Fisher as a parenting coordinator or attorney. Her conduct is decidedly unprofessional and falls far short of the standards required to effectively support families and children.

Bryce purchased office furniture in the amount of $1,800 three months ago. I have known his mother for years and she is certainly a fine woman and an excellent clinician. However, Bryce has not paid the $1,800 and has not contacted me or my secretary.

Although I initially agreed to hire Ms. Fisher, I was disappointed in her approach, both towards the parents and children. We spent a lot of money, without any benefit to our children. Our teens frequently told us that Ms. Fisher made them uncomfortable and asked questions that put them in the middle, the sheer reason she was hired, which was to prevent this.

Mary Beth represented me in custody proceedings and she was the best attorney I think anyone could hope for in these situations. She was extremely knowledgable, not only regarding the laws we were dealing with but also in the preferences of the officials we met with and the ins and outs of the particular circuit we were dealing with - I think that, among other things, was really what led to our victory in the case.
My case, like many, was extremely emotionally charged and Mary Beth went above and beyond to help me through that. She was kind, compassionate, and a fiercer fighter for my child's well-being than I think even I thought I could be at times. She handled challenges and blips without a single misstep and was extremely professional throughout.
I truly believe that if your legal situation involves your child's best interest, Mary Beth Fisher is the first and last attorney you should look to for help.

She is knowledgeable and professional in how she handled our custody matter. She put our children's interests before trying to please either parent. She helped us finish our case much quicker than our individual attorneys were able to do. Although this was a difficult time in my life and our children's life, she helped both parents recognize how we could help our children survive the divorce in the best way possible.

I found Mary Beth Fisher to be fair and very child oriented. Although I did not agree with all of her recommendations. It was evident that she was looking out for my children's best interests.

Mary Beth was hired as a guardian to our children. She is exceptionally bright. Although I found her to care about the children, I often found her biased towards either parent. She also missed some deadlines which lengthened the divorce process.
