We jokingly call him “Uncle Mike” at our house because he really became such a major part of our life for nearly two years in a custody battle and he was so sweet to our little one (but an absolute bull in court). He didn’t let any little thing slide, he’s incredibly knowledgeable, and he got us the best outcome we could hope for with the situation at hand. I can’t imagine where we’d be now if it weren’t for his persistence. I hope he never retires in case we need him again, I don’t think I could trust anyone else but Mr. Tony!

Wish I had him from the start of the custody battle went through 2 other attorneys that took my money and did nothing. After meeting Mr. Toney I went from never seeing my son to having full custody. He fights for you he’s the best attorney and he’s upfront.

Mike Tony would have saved me a lot of grief and heartache had I retained him from the beginning of my divorce. My ex and her attorney have been extremely nasty and vindictive. As soon as I met with Mike, things improved dramatically for me. Being that I did not have Mike from the beginning, my ex has been successful in removing me from my children's lives for a long time. Mike has fought tirelessly to help me get my kids back. And it's going to happen. I just wish I had hired him from the start. He's an excellent family law attorney. His no-nonsense style turns off some people. If you need a pitbull for an attorney, discuss your case with Mike Tony.

I was intimidated and nervous as I began my search for the right attorney. The legal system can be a scary place. It's the unknown for an outsider and as someone who isn't as familiar with your rights and the laws as they apply to your case. That's just one of the many reasons that I'm so happy that I hired Michael Tony to represent me. During our initial meeting, he was able to put things into perspective for me. He put my mind at ease as he effortlessly described my cases and the details of what I would need to do in order to get what I wanted and needed. I knew Mike was experienced in every aspect of my (complicated, detailed) cases. As I've worked with him more, I've seen that he genuinely does care about each of his clients and working hard for them. He will fight for you. He's an excellent litigator. He doesn't waste anyone's time-he gets to the point. I know I'm in good hands with Mike representing me.

Hired him 2 times! In both situations he was efficient... Got what I wanted and I couldn't be more thankful! My experience was great!

Ignore the negative comments, there was one that didn’t even have him as an attorney. That being said, Tony is a no nonsense kind of defender, be straight with him and he’ll be straight with you. He might even tell you things you don’t want to hear but fake people tell you what you want to hear. He might come off as tough or intimidating but he’s someone you want on your side. My girlfriend and I were being bothered by CPS in Lorain County and we should’ve called him right away. CPS attorneys are hard to come by in this county and, I believe, Tony is the best! He just took the reins and we didn’t have to worry anymore. DO NOT TRUST CPS! Call Attorney Tony!

Mr Tony represented me in a child support case in 2015 which turned out to be VERY SUCCESSFUL. In 2017, my Ex husband filed for full custody and Mr Tony was exceptional in keeping me from feeling stressed out about losing my children. He was very thorough in noticing details of my case that I would have overlooked. His staff is amazing too! I cannot say enough good things about Michael Tony and his staff. Communication was always on point and I never felt disregarded as a client. Needless to say I am stress free and have still have custody of my children. I would highly recommend this attorney and I have even recommended him to friends & family. His cost was beyond reasonable compared to other attorneys that quoted me for prior cases. Some feel Mr Tony is harsh but let’s remember, you don’t want a woose to fight for you. Thank you Michael Tony for your efforts & hard work.

I had nothing but good experiences with Mr. Tony. My divorce was difficult and my ex was ridiculous. Mr. Tony made sure that my children and I were taken care of. He would go out of his way to return phone calls and respond to questions I had even if it was after hours or on the weekends. He even set up weekend appointments to accommodate my out of town ex coming for weekend visitation with his kids. His rates are not extreme and he even skipped billing me a few times. When we first met he was very thorough in listening to what I wanted and taking all of my information. I was a little unsure of how things were going to go as we started into meetings with the other lawyer, but I quickly saw that he had things handled and that I had nothing to worry about. I recently had an issue come up with Child Support that I had some questions on and Mr. Tony was very quick to get back to me and thoroughly explain how things would work. I can’t say enough good about him.

Yes I hired this lawyer years ago divorce. visitation kids the answer more money. I went to another lawyer Mr tony I met your mother fine lady. What she was corn. Who knew

Michael tony acually did a pretty good job in my divorce case. I received full custody of my children with child support. alot of the wording in the court order was vague but overall he did good for me. Im just glad he was not my attorney!

I tried working with Mr. Tony two years in a row and each year he was difficult to deal with. Believe all the reviews on here. He is rude, unprofessional and should not represent anyone. Do not hire him. I hope this review is helpful to others. He doesn't return phone calls, shows up late and simply doesn't care.

Michael Tony is the worst attorney to ever get a license! He is an egotistical, disrespectful bully! I hired him 3 years ago and I'm sorry I ever did! He didn't return phone calls, shot his mouth off constantly, made promises he had no intentions of fighting for and took me for every penny he could. He couldn't even so much as show up in court the day of my divorce-sent someone I had never even met. I recently had to go back to him regarding a very important omission in my decree and he basically admitted he made a mistake but did nothing to rectify it. He treated me with such blatant disrespect and showed me out of his office but not before he "suggested" I hire another lawyer & sue him for malpractice because "that's why I carry malpractice insurance"! Really?? If you're smart, you will stay away from this sorry excuse for a lawyer....I wish I had!
