Attorney Jim Harden lied to me multiple times. Said he would have a wresting coach at my trial to defend my case as self defense and ended up grabbing a cop from the same court house as my trial and Judge is being held. I think that’s a bit suspicious. He lied through his teeth from the moment he met me until the moment the trial was over. Offered me a price for the trial and then the day before told me that was the price for each day. The day before trial literally leaving me with no choice. This company is a scam and they work with the prosecutors bc he used to be a prosecutor himself. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! Especially “attorney” Jim Harden. He even saw me at the court house after my trial and told me he had talked the opposition after the case telling them that I would have apologized but it wasn’t the right time at court because we were trying to win. Literally proving that he never believed I was innocent from the start and took my money anyways 🙃 welcome to the law

This is the Ohio Democratic Party’s law firm. When I talked to one of their attorneys they were nice to me, when I mentioned the Ohio Dems their whole demeanor changed and they were evasive and eager to get me off the phone. This firm is only for democrats..This firm will not take your case if it involves democrats. This is a woke law firm, avoid if you’re not woke!

Absolute worse experience of my life involving so called professionals. Quick to take the money up front but even quicker to slack and drag out not getting my case filed. Original lawyer Mary just passed down my case after doing my consultation and they went 7 weeks and never even filed it. I have all the emails to show how much unprofessional they are. They cost me valuable time in regards of my custody case. Would represent myself before using this law office.

Engel & Martin helped our family navigate a child custody case and did a fantastic job. Opposing counsel was extremely aggressive and we believed we were in a hopeless situation. Mary Martin and her team were able to turn what we thought was an unwinnable situation into a resounding victory for our family. They were always available, professional, friendly, and a firm I would ABSOLUTELY recommend them. I cannot thank them enough for all they have done for our family

My experience working with Engel & Martin was very positive. Both Mr. Engel and Mr. Martin took time to understand my issues with my previous employer and helped me determine the best legal course of action to take. They were professional. aggressive and efficient in moving my claim through the court system. The end result was a reasonable settlement of monetary and related issues. The entire staff at their Mason, Ohio offices were friendly, professional and responsive.

It is with a medley of emotions that I write this review. As a general rule, I do not bring up a couple of months in my life in which I was faced with the toughest of decisions and trying to digest the dizzying sequence of events that led me to Josh Engel's office is still difficult. Nevertheless, this is the first Google Review I have written and it is because I wish to share with you, if I may, how Josh's impact on my life has been a profoundly positive one. I had given up hope until the day that a ten-minute phone call with Josh brought me a measure of comfort I surely fail to adequately articulate with words alone. The sensation of being caught up in a flurry of events over which I had no control is indescribable, but I am writing so that anyone reading this will understand without a doubt, that Josh gave me back that control. Josh fought hard on my case, every single step of the way, and his quick wit and experience gave me renewed strength and fresh resolve. Did I mention he is a Harvard Law Grad...? He is a true professional, and he is genuinely a great man. You would be lucky to have this guy in your corner and I am beyond thankful Joshua Engel was in mine. Shout out to Anna who was a friendly point of contact, who always followed through, and never failed to take care of business. Simply put, Josh gave me my life back. Jim Hardin is a fantastic lawyer! Used their service for handling an Ex-parte CPO. Got the only one that matters dismissed. Highly recommend them and their staff!
