I was stuck at 90% and had no real recourse to change it on my own not knowing how to navigate the bureaucracy of the VA. Justin looked at my file and explained that he could claim things I had not looked at as well as get increases in other areas. The whole process was as quick and painless as it could be. Justin speaks veteran, he also speaks VA, so the communication every step of the way in a way that I could understand was a key to the whole process. The cost pales in the comparison to the troubles that I would have had had I went another direction. In my opinion it was well worth the cost. I would highly recommend Justin Smith to handle your claim.

I came to Justin stuck at 80 percent, he got me to 100 percent p&t. The process was very smooth with him. He reviewed my military records for additional claims to be added from my prior service. He also went over my more recent medical record from the VA and looked to see how he could increase my already rated service connected disabilities. He secondary connected conditions I didn't know could be. Overall the process for gathering all the evidence for Justin was about 9 months. My claim only took 4 months! That was faster than all the ones I did by myself. I also didn't have to go to a single on of the VA C&P exams, it was all done with Justin's team! I know when I would go to those exams I would always stress out that I was going to say the wrong verbiage or miss something which could cost you a huge percentage on a claim. If I had to go through the process again I would pick him again. Communication was very easy with him. I forgot to say I had tried to get myself up to 100 percent and got stuck at 80 and gave up. I just didn't think it was possible.

I would not recommend using Daniel Alden. An Attorney should not show up to court in a condition that shows he is more nervous than the client he is representing. He was sweating bullets going into the court room and stumbled through his words. In addition, he failed to present the pertinent documents that he was given at the first meeting with his client. We had a signed document that he did not present to the judge in addition to not defending his client to get attorney fees assessed to the other party. Mr. Daniel Alden feels he was successful because we did win our case; however, he could have done more for us as a client as we were still out attorney fees. The court also sent us the court cost bill and Daniel said that was just the way it was. I sent in a post-trial motion and the judge agreed the court cost should go to the Defendant, and they did move them to them.

Mr Smith represented me in a VA disability claim. I felt it was going nowhere, was overwhelmed dealing with the bureaucracy and he took over, explaining every step, handled paperwork, set up appointments and advised me on courses of action throughout the year long process. The case was concluded with the best possible result and I have recommended him to other people, including my wife.

0 stars is actually needed! Hired said firm on or about 03/13/2024 on a tight time line, sent 7 emails, got no services hired for or reply. Go in to find out what's going on and get a sob story of him being sick and to top it off, HE LOST ALL MY EVIDENCE GIVEN TO HIM! l Got a refund but have the grueling task of putting all the evidence back together for a competent law firm!

I would not recommend using the title company associated with this law firm (Mount Vernon Land Title Company). I bought title insurance on a property I recently purchased, then found a lien on said property (which was filed before my closing) not even two weeks after I signed paperwork. I contacted Noel and Jan and they told me that it wasn't covered by the title insurance (which I've been told by other sources should be covered.) I've been jumping through hoops with everyone that I can think of to try to forgive this unforeseen debt.

When it comes to navigating the VA Disability System, there is no better person to trust with your claim than Justin. The V.S.O. at my local Veterans Affairs Office had my claim so screwed up, I basically wasted 4 years of fighting myself with no feedback or assistance from them. Justin took over my case and with his expertise and knowledge in the system, had my claim squared away and submitted correctly into the system. I'm now rated at 90% and awaiting a higher level review to complete the my 100% which is where I should have been years ago. As a Desert Storm Veteran, I've suffered for years with my conditions with no compensation or benefits. If you're a veteran frustrated with a low rating or with the system, do yourself and your family a favor and reach out to Justin. The VA system is set up against you, to frustrate you and make you settle for a bare minimum rating or an outright denial. Hiring a professional to navigate the system will pay off for you and your family. I recommend Justin to every veteran I meet. Justin is a warrior who is very passionate at taking care of fellow veterans and assisting them through the VA Disability process.

I spent 21 years in the military. By the time I was 31 I had 5 surgeries already. I was stuck at 90% for several years doing everything myself. I couldn't for some (VA) reason get to 100%. Luckily I met Justin, followed his advice and finally got my 100% rating. Going from 90% to 100% is life changing. I highly recommend any veteran seek Justin's counsel on VA benefits and getting what you deserve.

After being discharged from the marines In September 2015, I was stuck at 90%. In September 2019, i tried to reevaluate my claim myself to no advancement. I thought I knew what I did wrong, so I tried again the following january of 2020, yet still no advancement in my claim status. I met Justin through the barbershop I worked in, and he offered to look at my claim for me. He reviewed my already service connected issues to find increases where I couldn't. He was able to identify new things within my records, i didn't know you could claim such as GERD and my Sciatic Nerve. The whole process was fairly easy. I started talking to him in April 2023 about my claim. He was able to link me up with some local medical professionals who assisted me with an Nexus letter and physical examinations for my claimed conditions. After that, we waited. By January 2024, the paperwork came back, and I was 100% total and permanent disabled from the military. I couldn't have done it without Justin's expertise in the field. Forever grateful , Brandon

As a veteran it is important to be represented by someone who is truly at the front of the pack to get you the benefits you've earned. Justin is nothing short of the best for veteran's VA benefits. After being out of the service for 8 years the VA knocked down my benefits from 70% to a 40%. I had just accepted that it was going to be reduced and went about my life. When I met Justin he said to let him take a look at it and he would see what he could do, well, now I can say that I am now at 100% permanent rating. Justin spent countless hours going though my records finding items I never knew were able to be claimed. He worked with me to ensure that I recieved the correct VA claim rating and caputered all items that were simply overlooked by my initial va providers. After completing his review he set up a medical team to review my conditions with me and documented them in a way that I would translate to the reviewer for an accurate evaluation. He even worked with my schedule to get me seen in office to go over every condition. Lastly, the two way communication was unlike any other with any attorney. Justin keeping me informed on the process, all of the next steps, and what I could expect. He went so far as to check on me after a very trying appointment with the veteran reviews. Justin is simply the best. I whole heartedly recommend Justin and honestly insist for all of my fellow veterans to have Justin look at your claim to see what he can do for you. He changed my life for the better!

Justin was a great listener to my needs and expectations. He was able to increase my disability rating from 10% to 70% with the VA.
