I was charged with OVI. After vetting several attorneys, I chose Mr. Rudes to represent me. Mr. Rudes is very professional and straight forward. He explained to me what the possible consequences of the OVI charge would be and what my options were. Mr. Rudes said "tell me what you want the outcome to be and that is what we will shoot for. Because I could not drive, Mr. Rudes came to my home to discuss my case. He gave me a questionnaire to fill out which was very thorough. Mr. Rudes asked me a lot of questions about my background, my family and the circumstances leading to my OVI charge. On the day of the pre-trial, Mr. Rudes presented my options after he had spent a lot of time researching my case and then talking with the prosecuting attorney. I was surprised by the offer presented to me on the pre-trial day which was dismissal if the one-year ALS (adminstrative license suspension as I refused the BAC text), reduction of OVI to reckless operation, fine and 3-day alcohol intervention program. Mr. Rudes wanted me to take my case to trial as he believed the officer who charged me with OVI had no reason to pull me over and the circumstances surrounding my OVI were questionable at best. I decided to take the plea deal and get everything over with the day of the pre-trial. I walked out of the courtroom with my life back; I was able to drive again! Had me personal circumstances been different, I would have followed Mr. Rudes advice and taken my case to trial. In the end, Mr. Rudes did exactly what he said he would do. Mr. Rudes worked hard for me, not as just another client, but on a personal level. I highly recommend Mr. Rudes to anyone facing a OVI such as I was. Not only was my outcome good, I feel I have gained a new friend.

Attorney Rudes represented me for an incident in which I refused to take the breathalyzer. Attorney Rudes helped me to plea to Reckless Op 2nd offense. He helped me establish restricted driving privileges for 6 months and I attended the DIP program which was also court ordered. Upon the end of my 6 month license suspension I realized there was still an ALS against my drivers license that required a $475 payment. Both Attorney Rudes and I did not feel that was correct . Attorney Rudes took this matter before the Judge and he agreed with Attorney Rudes despite the prosecutor’s objections. I know have my driving privileges back and I can’t thank Attorney Rudes enough!

As an owner/operator of my business as a truckdriver, I found myself in a situation that eventually put me near bankruptcy and a record on my license. I was out of work for many months and was going to give up my fight when I met Terrence. I met him after hearing him speak and all is history from there. I can go on and on, but there really aren't enough words to express my gratitude and Terrence will never know the extent of how he changed my life and saved my business! He is a wonderful man, and an EXCELLENT lawyer! To those who may think this is too good to be true, its the truth! I will be forever thankful that our paths met. Let me just start by saying that Terry is a true professional, down to earth and honest. I am a professional in the transportation industry and am required to travel worldwide for my job. I was faced with the risk of losing my career after being pulled over for OVI, Terry came highly recommended and I soon became aware that his knowledge of DUI law in Ohio is unmatched. Where do I begin?... Well, I will start off by saying Terry is a down to earth man who really knows his stuff which is exactly what you need in a lawyer! He really went above and beyond to help me with my unique case. I was charged with an OVI and violation of probation. However, I really wasn't drinking and driving. It's a long story, so to sum it up, he listened to what I had to say and fought for me. I work in the medical field and could lose my medical license by getting in trouble with the law. He understood how detrimental this was to me and to my career. The outcome of my case was that the OVI charge was dismissed and community service for the probation violation. I was charged for an OVI in the small municipality of Oregon. I initially hired a family friend, who primarily practices criminal law. This being a 1st offense, my expectations we to be offered a lesser plea. My initial counselor was not able to convince the prosecutor to offer such plea. He suggested that we schedule a jury trial and proceed down that route. While my initial counselor bought me some time, I did a bunch of research with some other friends in the legal field. They discussed my case among themselves and met with me for details. They then referred me to Mr. Rudes. After a lengthy phone call and completing his questionnaire, he offered to represent me. Mr Rudes asked me tons of questions and provided an incredible amount of information. He shared every detail of the process and what I should expect. He also prepared me for the worst case results. We met at court a few days later and we had postpone the pretrial due to some paperwork mix-up in the court. We met again a week later at court to see if we needed a trial. He met with the prosecutor, and whatever conversation they had, he returned with a greatly lessened plea, much reduced punishment, and managed to reduce my suspension from 1 year to 6 months. This seemed extremely unlikely but he pulled it off. I could not be happier with Mr. Rudes. He is an honest, attentive, available, and responsive professional. He knows his craft inside and out and developed a strategy in preparation for the worst. He carries himself with confidence but not arrogance. I would hire him again without hesitation.

I was faced with a 4th ovi. I wreaked my car and was injured in the accident. They took blood at the hospital. It was a very hi bac. The courts waited 3 months until I was healed up before they even let me know I was going to be tried for the wreck and ovi. The tickets and court summons came in the mail. No one would take my case, but two separate attorneys recommend Mr. Rudes they said he was the best. They didn't lie!!! I never had to step before a judge or even enter a courtroom. Mr. Rudes did it all...the blood test was no match for him, it was thrown out. I walked away with less than 200 in fines and just a failure to maintain control, and no probation or license lose!
