Attorney Schmitt is a very professional legal advisor. He has been there every step of the way during my long, and ongoing, divorce process providing straightforward and timely guidance along the way. He knows what he is doing, and does not/will not lead his clients down the wrong path just to line his pockets (unlike some attorneys). He understands the emotional stress you go through during a divorce, and cares about what is in your - and your children's - best interest.

Divorce is an incredibly difficult and life altering event in anyones life. It can be not only mentally difficult but emotionally, spiritualy, and financially as well. In the begining stages it can be so easy to feel overwhelmed. Not only do you have a million questions but you are in the mists of a major life changing situation. Keeping a notebook is a very useful tool that can help you organize all of your many thoughts, questions, and concerns. You will not only be grieving the loss of your marriage and family unit, you will be struggling with many emotions all at the same time. Being in a state of shock is normal. Feeling scared, angry, disappointed, hurt, lost and alone is all completely normal. Dealing with all of these emotions at the same time can make you irrational and over sensitive. For these reasons having an experienced, calm and rational lawyer is the most important choice you will make on this journey. I was consumed by my emotions. I did not know where to start or what to do. With the support of Mr.Schmitt and his assistant Connie, they helped me to begin to look at my situation with logic not emotion. Of course that is not always an easy process. Your lawyers job is to be realistic and informative. His job is to prepare you for the worst case scenario while working towards the best possible outcome. There will be times when you don't like what you hear but Mr.Schmitt's honesty and integrity is nessasary and key to surviving the divorce process. Mr.Schmitt and his assistant Connie are a great team to have on your side. While they are not counselors or therapists, they have seen it all and are prepared to deal with your legal needs in a caring and compassionate manner. I can not stress how important it was to have all of their knowledge helping me to make decisions based on my own best interests. called in lady answered said i was low income mind you my husband makes decent money i didnt even get the chance to speak more the lady was rude was like call legal aid umm lol read up legal aid isnt helping with nothing they are a joke and seems you guys are too .. you could have made my husband pay for my lawyer case and file fees since he was the abuser .. was told to call around to other lawyers.. unless u got money for these money hungry people they wont give you the time of day but dont lawyers have to do probonos so many times a year!! lazy should i say on your end .... dont even respond back to this bc ill just put your worthless LLC down some more i even keep reposting this if it gets removed ..

I would recommend Gwen to anyone dealing with immigration visa's or green card issues. She was very precise and well versed with our situation, we received our green card and SSN within 4 months of filing !!! Thank You so much :) I'm letting all our friends know about her !!!
