Gave bad advice. Pretty much told me Id be better off taking all of the debt for my marriage instead of hiring a lawyer. Gave bas advice.

I used Hillis for a divorce attorney he didn’t help to advise me during the process. I then used him again for an amendment to the child custody, he didn’t even open his mouth as the judge was against military and didn’t rule in my favor. I could’ve gotten the same result if I had of represented myself.

I first met Clay (& Leeann his legal assistant) in May 2016. They have been amazing to work with. Clay has been a lawyer who tells me worst case scenario and helps me realize what to expect realistically. He helped me through a rough patch and even got to know me as a person in a professional manner. I would definitely recommend this firm to anyone needing representation. When Clay didn't know something or wasn't sure he was calling people or looking it up. I'm very pleased with my experience.

BEWARE OF THE WOLF IN SHEEPS CLOTHING. THIS MAN STATED THAT HE COULD SERVE BOTH MY WIFE AND I IN A DIVORCE WHICH IS CONFLICT OF INTEREST. I TOOK THE MONEY TO HIS OFFICE AND PAID HIM THE MONEY FOR THE DIVORCE THEN DROPPED ME AND TOOK MY EX WIFE AS HIS CLIENT AND NEVER RETURNED THE MONEY. WHEN THE DIVORCE COURT DATE CAME HE DID NOT HONOR WHAT THE JUDGE TOLD HIM TO HONOR AND SWITCHED THE DIVORCE DECREE AROUND FROM WHAT THE JUDGE ORDERED. I HAVE TO ADMIT THAT AFTER TELLING THE JUDGE WHAT HE DID THE JUDGES RESPONSE SEEMED LIKE THEY KNOW HIS DARKNESS. HE IS A RIP OFF AND HE HAS BEEN TURNED INTO BARR ASSOCIATION AND UNDER INVESTIGATION. GOD WILL TAKE CARE OF THIS THIEF IN ACTION. I SAY AGAIN BEWARE OF THIS MAN WHO DRESSES LIKE DR. SEUSS.......

Amazing caring man who does an amazing job representing his clients

Absolutely doesn’t care for fathers rights. My case was dropped like a ball. He was unable to recall my name or case after in his office several times and the fact my case was unique in the sense it was a foreign country case where my ex fled too. He knew the urgency of this case and completely failed at getting my rights back. Absolute garbage!
