I’ve known RJ for many years. RJ is very strategic in his approach with his client’s personal rights being no exception. RJ has a holistic view of law by considering issues from “cradle” to “grave”. Additionally, his approach is integrated by considering parallel life situations while crafting his strategy and tactics. RJ’s experience as a military officer is quite complimentary as an attorney.

I came to Mr. Taylor’s office after working with another lawyer in town for 8 months with no forward movement in our case. Mr. Taylor and his office staff were extremely responsive and knowledgeable throughout our case. While I had waited for months for my previous representation to do anything, Evan sat with me and wrote our initial filing on our second visit - the first visit simply being a consultation. It was filed that afternoon. Mr. Taylor’s office provides an online portal for easy tracking of important dates, as well as a place to gather documentation. This portal allowed me to feel on top of what was a very stressful situation. When it came time for trial, I was well prepared by Mr. Taylor and his staff. Evan Taylor is a very well spoken, confident lawyer with the knowledge of how to properly represent you in court. I had previously been to court with my ex wife 3 different times with different lawyers but couldn't get the custody resolved in our favor. Mr. Taylor picked up my custody case after I was nickel and dimed into a pit by a previous attorney. He got in there and took over with lots of communication and understanding to our needs. I was referred by another lawyer to Mr. Taylor- and was told he was the “best” when it came to custody issues. My case was a renegotiation of visitation since my sons father was returning to the local area and I was custodial parent designated during his time away. Anyone who has been through custody/visitation or divorce with minor children issues, knows that it is not pleasant but this was for the most part a painless process. I always believed I was in good hands and that I was getting great representation. Not only did Evan clearly lay out the plan, he provided me an upfront cost as opposed to an hourly rate! I knew exactly what to expect, and whenever I did have questions he was easily accessible and available to answer my questions. He was honest when I asked for guidance and was not pushy of any agenda or approach. I felt he was always an advocate for me as his client! My case was settled in mediation.
