I went to Lawrence when I was more than half way through my custody case, little more than 30 days from my trial date and I had no hope left. My original attorney had made a lot of assurances and promises about what she was doing for my case, none of which was followed through with. After a terrible mediation where I was threatened by my EX and bullied by his lawyer, to which my lawyer did and said nothing, I hired Mr. Goodwin.He was completely honest and upfront about what was and was not done and what he could or could not do. He made absolutely no promises, in fact he was just trying to do damage control. He was patient, kind, and yet brutally honest with a scared, emotional mother. He fought for me and WON. Won a case that had practically been handed to the other party by my previous lawyer. I am in awe and forever thankful. You could do no better than this man and his wonderful team, Martha And Bri!

I called to make an appointment first and foremost for legal advice to clarify what are options were. Whomever answers to set appointments was very rude. As I was answering her many questions she continued to talk over me telling me she didn't know what the attorney would say? That's why I'm making an appointment to ask the questions I need to know. Very unprofessional, very rude. Will not be hiring this attorney.

I hired Lawrence Goodwin and associates to help me with a child custody dispute. they did exactly what they said they would do, they legally stopped my daughter's mother from keeping me out of her life and got some proper guidelines set for the both of us to follow. I was extremely impressed with the level of service and professionalism provided to me. I won't lie, they do cost some money but in the end it was well worth it because I got what I came in for. I will use them again if I have to go back to court over the same issue.

Just got the estimate here pretty expensive

I interviewed several attorneys for my child's custody case and each one kept quoting their retainer and giving me promise after promise. I finally met with Lawrence and his team and they refused to promise me things and tell me what I wanted to hear. They told me the truth, gave me the right advice, took the time to develop a case strategy with me, and were on my team from day one. The retainer may have been higher than the others but you get what you pay for. I have full custody of my beautiful boys, their father is finally paying child support on time, and I can finally breath and enjoy the time I have with my children as it was meant to be. Don't waste your time elsewhere...call these guys first.

Lawrence and his team were so great and helpful to work with. They helped me understand everything and I really appreciate everything they did with me through the process with them.

My consultation with him was horrifying from the very moment he introduced himself. I had no idea where to start with explaining my divorce situation which he offered no help with. he immediately began tearing apart any aspect of anything I told him literally within minutes of entering his office which I had to force him to listen to to because he barely asked me any questions about my situation or my case. all he wanted to do was try to convince me that trying to fight for my share of our marital property was just a waist of his time and that i couldnt afford him then rudely declined to take my case hello by this point I had already decided that he wasn't even trying to help me but was instead actively trying to discourage me. He has been the most unprofessional and rude person that I have met yet during this divorce experience.

Lawrence is the BEST. He treated me fairly and got results my previous attorney did not. His expertise and demeanor put me at ease and I knew I was in good hands from the start. I highly recommend Lawrence and would definitely use him again if the need should arise.

Lawrence is a mean, scary guy...for the opposing side, that is. If you are tired of fighting your own battles with your ex, he will gladly fight them for you. Plus, he'll do one heck of a job. He handled my very contentious divorce which was litigated in 2 counties and included a child custody battle that lasted 12 months and went all the way to a full day trial. Lawrence is always right. The man knows the law and how all of the judges will respond to everything. I have had numerous hearings and court dates and they all turned out like he said they would. If you hire him and do what he tells you to do, you will get the results that you want. He commands control of the courtroom and always has a quick answer for the tough questions. If you think all attorneys are the same, you probably have never been to court. I have seen many timid, unprepared, outwitted attorneys obtain some pretty disasterous results for their clients. I ended up with sole custody of my daughter, 99.9% of the marital property, none of the marital debt, and a gigantic judgment against my ex-husband for attorney fees. That is because I hired the best - Lawrence Goodwin.
