I was poor with two children and a husband who was an alcoholic, and never worked. I had to borrow money for his retaining fee to handle my divorce. Months went by and in the end, I lost everything. It was either sell my house and relocate or pay several thousand dollars to my ex-husband, all because why he stayed home getting drunk, I went to work.
