After hiring a total lemon attorney I read some reviews that seemed good for this law firm, I spoke with them and told them exactly what I needed and wanted and they assured me they would take my son's wishes into consideration during the case they also stated this was about his safety! Then after 5 months of billing they accomplished NOTHING but getting all my information to the opposing council, not getting any information for trial from the opposing council, not enforcing the child support after 9months of back child support, couldn't get any court orders enforced even though they are COURT ORDERS, and only managed to keep scheduling further out, then when the time comes schedule further out, then further out again. In the mean time they will not submit what you want to the opposing council, but they will bow to every wish of the oposing council in an effert to settle without actually using anything you have to prepare for trial. Most importantly they will try to settle for what is even maybe even fair but will not even look at what is SAFE or NOT SAFE for your kids. Buyer beware, of Katie Carter and Michael Risleys law firm. Almost forgot, they withdrew from the case during mediation before trial, after they billed for trial fees plus monthly billing, knowing I was already screwed by the 1st attorney, and get this...they used the excuse- I was unprofessional because I asked them to do the job I paid them to do and asked them to use all the proof and facts I sent them. They will take your money and not finish the job!

We hired Michael Risley for expungements in a couple of different counties. He and his assistant Paul were very helpful and informative of what was going to happen and about how long the process would take. They responded very promptly to emails and phone calls and never got irritated when we would ask questions. The process went very smooth and just like they explained. We are so thankful for their help and to now have all of this behind us.

I contacted Michael Risley in March of 2015. I was requesting his assistance in helping me resolve a case that as of 2015 had no official closure. Being from out of state I was concerned as to how this would all wash out. I have to say that Michael and Paul both did a great job at not only keeping me in the loop as to their progress but giving me a approximate date that I could expect official closure on the matter. Michael Risley who lives in OK City took over a case another attorney had been working on for two years in Tulsa county. He completed the case in less then 90days also caught several items that the other attorney left out. As the rating states he is trustworthy, it was all handled online, he was sensitive to my needs, he did not make me feel as a lesser person, he caught several items, the other attorney, of two years, left out. He usually answers the phone if not. He called me back in a timely manner, with out acting put out or without rushing me. Mr. Risley helped me with an expungement of a mistake from 2005. It was quick and painless to say the least on my side. He was up front with everything that was going on during the whole process, as well as explaining it all in an easy way to understand. Although I made several contacts with alternative options to hire for representation, his knowledge, facts of the matter persona, willingness to assist, and compassion during conversing with me enticed me to hire him.
