I sought help regarding my severance agreement after being laid off due to COVID-19. They were very helpful and provide good advice.

I went there just before one of the girls was about to get marry, she was so kind to take my case and talk to me.. we followed the CDC guidelines throughout the whole interview, she was very kind and so was the whe staff from. The front office to the lawyers and the communication was never an issue. They responded my calls and worked on my short schedule, even when it was her weeding week. Great service.

The high level of personal attention and professionalism I found while working with the the staff at Mazaheri Law Firm was remarkable. My initial contact was with Shelly who gave me a very structured and methodical overview of the steps she would take to begin the process of getting me to an assigned counselor. With a friendly manner, she made sure I understood the process and then did everything she said she would do when she said she would do it. Mary Rahimi was the lawyer who managed my case. From our first conversation, it became apparent that Mary knew how to facilitate complex issues and sort the details into points that she communicated to me in a very clear and concise manner. She was patient and provided personal attention while handling my case with a firm confidence that gave me a sense that my issue was of paramount concern. I could not have been more pleased. Every communication I had with the law firm has been wonderfully professional. Mary is a godsend attorney. I am so very thankful for her proactive, earnest and meticulous dedication in my case, which was rather a special circumstance case compared to others. I felt very much taken care of in her very capable hands. She is utmost assertive in her communications with the opposing counsels and make sure that her client gets the best outcome possible. At the same time, she is a super duper sweet and a delightful person to work with. She takes her time to explain the legal jargons while keeping me up to date on changes. I entirely trust her throughout the process. I would highly recommend Mary without any reservations. In fact, if I or anyone in my circle ever to need any legal assistance that would be in her line of practice, she would be my first choice without a doubt.

The issue I have is how they blatantly did nothing on my case until I contacted them. They overcharged on a bill because they had a legal assistant doing some work but charged it as an attorney. I had to contact to correct the issue. From that point, no action was done until I contacted them. At that time the legal assistant, Mary had passed her exams and become an attorney. My original timeline was provided to Katherrine Mazaheri on 7/7/2020. In their acceptance letter they stated 7/13/2020 was my initial consultation. Failed to look at min details. 8/5/20 Jillian requested exact documents that were already provided. I contacted the office 9/27.Mary was the one who responded. When Mary Rahimi contacted me back she apologized for not getting on the issue. Explained she had just gotten married and passed her exams. I pointed out no action had been taking and what my employer was doing and Mary claimed she was unaware even though it was listed on my timeline provided 7/7/20, she agreed the matter needed to be addressed ASAP stated she would get back with me no later than 11/9. She never contacted me. I emailed her over a week and half later. The firm sent out a document to my employer almost 3 1/2 months after being informed of the issue. The due date of the letter came and went. I had to contact Mary to find out the status. At minimum she should have contacted me and advised me of the situation, VM, 10 sec email. I have no issues with my case taking time but they failed to see some of the major issues that were time sensitive. I had already consulted other counsel (which I informed Mary of) and was writing a letter to terminate our arrangement when I received an email from their office terminating our agreement. I have emails and all correspondence to back up what I have listed. **Update** As the firm has responded I want to make things clear since the firm indicated there were no issues. 1. Lack of communication- Claiming there were no deadlines that were missed is a complete lie. Stating there was no action that needed to be taken immediately is also a lie. You (Katherine), Jillian and Mary ALL MISSED what my current employer was doing to me and action needed to be taken ASAP. Mary apologized profusely for missing this in my timeline and even stated it was missed by senior attorneys. The ONLY reason any action was taken in the 6 months I was with your firm was when I called and inquired and made requests. NO NEW INFORMATION was ever provided from the original documents. 2. Billing- charging more than what is allowed is not an automated response. A person had to put what an hourly rate would be. Making a legal assistant the price of an attorney is wrong. 3. Deadlines- I never said in my review a court or statute deadline was missed. Mary stated in communication she would get back with me no later than 11/9. I waited a week and a half before I contacted to see what the issue was. Again a letter was sent with another deadline that Mary never contacted me for the outcome. Over a week after that deadline I had to contact her about the situation. This is BASIC customer service. I shouldn't have to contact a law firm I am paying (well by the way), to do their job or provide good customer services. As for COVID I am understanding and always happy to work with someone. No one informed me of that issue until the 3rd time I had to contact your office. Missing one deadline is one thing but multiple is a pattern. Being told my issues do not have to be filed quickly bc there is no pressing timeline to get them done DOES NOT mean you shouldn't take action. This means you have time to take the appropriate action, your firm uses it as an excuse to take more clients for money and set them to the side. If a firm cannot provide decent customer service and timely responses they should not take on more clients than they can handle. My attorney telling me that you are a small office and have many cases is inexcusable. You have people's lives in your hands. You should have apologized as your response is petty and incorrect.

Mazaheri Law was recommended by a friend to review my separation agreement, I was very pleased with all aspects of the engagement. Jillian was very responsive to my inquiries and pushing opposing counsel to complete the settlement in a timely manner for a reasonable fee that resulted in a settlement that was significantly higher then the amount I almost settled for. On budget, on time, larger settlement, win win! Highly recommend this firm, and have!

Wont talk to you unless you have money......

The Mazaheri Law Firm as a whole, has an amazing atmosphere and such professionalism from the start. I’ve personally hired an attorney from this firm, on several occasions, and have always been extremely happy with how my case was handled. This firm is full of bright and a hard working attorneys and support staff. You don’t need to look any further for representation honestly. Highly recommend.
