I'll admit I was a little apprehensive in the early stages of my workman's comp claim. I've since learned that the deck is stacked against the worker in The Late Great State of Oklahoma, and stacked in favor of big business. You see their Doctors, those Doctors can and will sway whichever way the wind blows. They can legally put you on light duty status and then terminate you. You can't collect unemployment or workman's comp and no one will hire you because your a liability on light duty status. Then they squeeze you into your veins run dry and they offer you pennies on the dollar because there is a cap. This was amplified with the presents of the pandemic. The worker was sold out, to attract the big corporations and their tax dollars. Don't get hurt in this state. They put a dollar amount on every possible injury or loss that one could imagine. When it came down to it Marcus Gowens squeezed then for every cent he could get out of them! I know a bit more than the average Joe, when it comes to law, and when my research was done, I felt blessed that I had chosen Marcus to fight for me. Without him I would of likely walked out of that courtroom with my tail between my legs.
