I had a contract with Knight and Stockton to file my Bankruptcy, after paying them little over 1200.00 they took 600.00 and sent me a check for 600.00 and then closed my case without even finishing my bankruptcy. They have had alot of changes different people handling my case. During this Covid pandemic no one needs to loose $600.00 I thought this was a Christian Law Firm?? How could they be so cruel during a time like this. I asked why they kept 600.00 of my money and they said they had obtained a credit report and taken a couple calls from my creditors. I am ashamed that anyone could do this to someone and then have all these Christians signs posted in there office. I am tired of being taken advantage of. I was laid off my full hours at work. And trying to put everything I had towards my Bankruptcy payments. I was within my contract. The 1st guy I spoke with said it was fine to make payments and even gave me a timeline to have it paid by and I was within that. I had paid 1200 only needed 500.00 more payment. This law firm stole 600.00 from me.
