Spoke with an attorney and he was rude and seemed to have zero concern for my first amendment right. He claimed that my rights were not violated when the police chief censored my speech. Most civil rights attorneys are passionate about the constitution. I'd go somewhere else if I were looking for a civil rights attorney.
