Stacy Acord was a breath of fresh air to work with after other less than desireable adoption lawyers we had previously used. She helped us with two of our adoptions and really took all the cumbersome situation herself as we navigated a multilayered sibling adoption through DHS. Stacy also stepped in to finish a private adoption another lawyer had started with us, and then mid adoption had to turn it over. I’m so glad Stacy was recommended to our family.

I truly cannot say enough good things about Stacy Acord. She helped us to navigate a Native American (ICWA) infant adoption in 2016. (My adopted son and I are both Cherokee). Stacy Acord helped with the adoption of my daughter in Tulsa County. We are an LGBT couple and needed help navigating the process of terminating a biological parent’s parental rights so that I could assume those legal rights and responsibilities.
