Overall awesome law firm

Don’t know why there are so many haters. All I felt when I want to their law office was pure kindness and respect for their clients and workers.

Horrible place!!! She took all my money and acted like she could help me and turned on me. She is a horrible person and a liar! I would never recommend this place to anyone!!!

One could not recommend the Law Office of Angela Lee enough. I had trouble with accurate billing; ie: they increased their hourly rate after the signed billing contract. Ultimately they reduced their billing back to what was agreed upon, but they took me to small claims court over it. If you need witnesses called for your case, you better call them, prep them, and make sure they know when to show up yourself. 24 hours before my court date was when I was informed by Angela that they haven’t done any of the witness prep work that they said they were going to do. Talk about making a stressful situation 100 times more stressful. If you need a judge issued protection order filed for your child in your custody battle well better figure out how to do it yourself or hire another lawyer to do it. During your custody trial really isn’t the best time to find out that your lawyer (Angela Lee herself) has failed to file protection orders for your child. My first 3 bullets are purely objective reasons to hire a different law firm to represent you. On a purely subjective note they talk a big game and get your expectations so high that when they under deliver so bad that you slip into a deep depressive state. Last but not least they’ll sue you for the money they say they’re owed for the work they fail to do and over bill you for. I whole heartedly do not recommend The Law Office of Angela Lee.

Worthless for attorney she did nothing at all and she lied about payments and she does not help or communicate at all

We spoke to Matthew over the phone this past Monday which went well as far as we could tell, he said and I quote "if you have any questions give me a call back" we tried, for three days then my husband says Kevin called and decided for Matthew that we couldn't speak to him any longer unless we retained him. And idk what planet Kevin is from but talking about a different case with a few similarities and how that case spent over $13,000 but those folks got visits idk but here in earth where people are living with covid and about to get hips replaced and not working $13,000 is a lot of money sometimes all the money one even has and $13,000 would need to get me permanent full custody of my kids back not mere visitation for my husband as I get visits. And we were told by Brenda and by the state bar that it's $35/hr we were charged $70 on the assumption we'd talk for an hour but it was like 32 minutes so $35 needs to be refunded that's a lot of money for us. I'm thinking if we need to we'll just contact an attorney in the county our kids are so we wouldn't have to pay travel on top of anything. Idk I feel that leaving multiple messages seems unprofessional since the person told us verbatim to call back if we had a question. I don't have any experience besides that with this firm and seeing the other reviews makes me not want to, get us the $35 back and we'll part ways.

These people are absolutely unethical and not qualified to handle anything, their associate Mathew Holland didn’t keep any written records of settlement offers of mine to opposing counsel. So for that reason alone I lost my case & the judge was very clear in that, of course as soon as I lost and voiced my displeasure the firm dropped me as a client after taking 25K in fees. Dropped me Because they knew they had committed malpractice and were trying to cover their backsides, their incompetence cost me 10’s of thousands of dollars! Do not trust or use this form to do anything other than wash your car or you will regret it enormously. On top of that because all these shyster lawyers stick together no one will take my malpractice case, they all need to be buried for MULCH!!!

My sister went to Angela for her divorce about five years ago. She racked up 6k in fees and barely made it out a year later with said divorce. My father went to John Meyers (don't ask me why...I guess he thought a different lawyer in the same office might work out) and spent 2k, just to do a substantial amount of the grunt work and receive bad advice. Three weeks without a returned phone call, then a call back on the last day to file an appeal! I'd say these guys are pretty good at swindling those unfamiliar with the law out of their hard earned money - that's about it. Go elsewhere.
