My mother passed away in October of 2023. I contacted Mike Romano at Schultz & Associates who came highly recommended by a realtor friend. My mothers Estate went into probate and I was the personal representative. For those who have not dealt with the probate process & laws I will tell you without a good attorney you will be lost. Mike was very patient, communicative & kind. Even when a few unexpected issues came up the probate went smoothly & closed just recently.
I would recommend Mike Romano to anyone as an attorney and person you can trust who gets the job done!

Highly recommend working with Mike Romano!
He made the trust and estate process less stressful. His communication and knowledge is top notch! He answered all my questions and walked me through this tough process. I started with a different estate lawyer at a different firm, and I was not impressed. But after meeting Mike and talking through the process, I knew my family was in good hands. Original trust was completed by Joel Smith (no longer with this law firm). Mike Romano assisted our family once our mother died. He was prompt to respond and answered all questions. Unfortunately, one asset needed to go to probate rather than handled through the trust. He promptly submitted required paperwork for this portion of the estate.

Mike Romano has been excellent. I won't lie, Scott Schultz and Joel Smith would not communicate or even be bothered to reply back. I had sent numerous emails and called and left so many messages without hearing a word back for months! However when we started with Mike Romano we had a completely different experience. He has been extremely helpful and replies to any questions and concerns. He is professional, caring, and gets the job done all while making sure any questions and concerns are addressed. He has been such a help wrapping up my sister's estate. He is amazing!

My mother set up her estate planning with Scott Schultz. She passed away thinking she had left things in the hands of an honorable man. Mr. Schultz is anything but honorable. He does not follow through, he is not honest, and yet he still charges for the work he does not complete. We came from other states two separate times to meet with him and yet he could not manage to complete the paperwork. Scott Schultz should be ashamed of himself and his lack of professional ethics.
