I met with Brent regarding an employee-employer issue. I have lost sleep over my issue and was feeling helpless in resolving my issue. Brent listened carefully while I explained my situation, he gave me well thought out solutions and direction. We even discussed different possible outcomes so I can prepare for whatever happens. He asked several times if I had any questions. We went over the appointment time and he continued to show a lot of patience and kindness. I felt totally comfortable with Brent, trusted his knowledge and competency and would happily go back to him with any legal issues in the future.

So, had a car accident. i wouldn't have had asked them help if i hadn't. My previous attorneys where from Washington. So, when it came time to file a lawsuit he couldn't help me no more. But, he was nice enough to refer me to this office. I called and they said yes, come over and we will take a look at you case. Please tell your previous attorney to send us over you file. Which he did.Two weeks later i travel (1:30 min from my house to their office) in which i am greeted and seen by someone else other than the person who was supposed to see me. I explain what had happened, how it had affected me and my loved ones, how the injury i suffered was difficult for me. I am told ok, your case is a little complicated, but we will talk about it with my partners and we will get back to. I will give you a call later in the week. (my appointment was Wednesday) . Comes Friday no call, a week passes by still no call. I had called and left a message to MR. Smith asking if they where going to take my case or not to please give me a call back. I didn't receive a call. until I called and tried every extension they had. Finally someone answered. I was finally told they where not going to take my case(after a weeks wait) and i was supposed to receive a letter saying that. (the letter hadn't arrived). I told the person who answered the phone that i was never told i was going to receive a letter. instead i was told i was going to receive a call.. they made me wait one whole month in between the appointment and them deciding they're not going to take my case. If you're not going to take someones case at least let them know ASAP. My accident happened about two years ago, and as attorneys they know there is a Statue of Limitation in Oregon State. Don't make them wait and waist time waiting for an answer when you had already decided that you didn't want the case. and give them a call back instead of telling them you will and at the end you don't.
