I hired Stephen Palmer for my Estate Planning needs. He and his assistant, Jessica Leuthold, were wonderful to work with and answered all my questions. I am very happy I chose to work with them and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality legal work.

Steve has helped us several times when we needed legal information & advice. This time he helped us through a more complicated legal problem. He is kind and supportive as well as aware & skillful with the legal nuances that resulted in our getting a sad situation resolved well.

Mr. Palmer represented me a few years ago for a couple of different domestic relations issues over a period of about 6 years. In each case, he was open about the possible results and gave solid, reasonable advice. Although emotions ran high in my dom rel case, Steve steered me on a conciliatory course that helped me work with my ex-husband in a better way than I had been. Not sure if he's still doing family law, but I highly recommend him nonetheless.

Had to rush to get moms estate in order before death. Steven dropped everything that day and by afternoon he had all legal documents prepared. He and Karen then met with mom and I next day at care center to finalize all paperwork and then helped me file all legal papers. I first contacted Stephen via email for some preliminary advice for Spousal Support Modification, which he was very prompt to reply with direct advice so when I scheduled a meeting with him I would have all the information needed. Steve and I met just once and he gathered my information, drew up the paper work, filed it with the court, and it was signed by the judge in less than two weeks. Steve is a pleasure to work with and very prompt and professional!!! Thank you Steve!!!!

After receiving my first ever major offense-a DUII-I was in a state of disarray and shock. I was referred to Stephen Palmer and because of his experience, expertise and class, I am happy and thankful to say that I am on a path to recovery and putting this terrible and embarrassing incident behind me. Mr. Palmer and the entire staff at his firm were professional, attentive and incredibly helpful throughout the entire DUII, court and diversion process. After listening to several horror stories of friends that had to deal with not only the death of a loved one but also trying to navigate through the probate process, I decided to have a Living Trust made. Steve made this extremely easy for me - I'm still confused by the process but he walked me through it step by step and gave me such great direction that it didn't seem at all difficult. I know it will be so much less stressful for my children when I'm gone - which I don't plan on any time soon! Thank you, Steve!

I retained Newberg Law's, Stephen Palmer, to prepare and file a motion, an order, and supporting documents. Due to his negligence, the motion was never filed. When opposing counsel made me aware of my attorney’s error and I confronted Mr. Palmer regarding his failure to complete the task, he offered numerous and varied explanations finally blaming it on a “paralegal error.” When I asked that he remove the charges related to this admitted error, he refused. Additionally, I was billed attorney time for a settlement conference for which Mr. Palmer failed to prepare, to which Mr. Palmer arrived unprepared, which Mr. Palmer attended without properly or professionally representing my interests and providing guidance, and which concluded with unsatisfactory results due to Mr. Palmer's poor performance. I have not yet disputed several thousands of dollars which I had paid Mr. Palmer previous to learning of his negligent business practices. I continue, however, to dispute the charges associated with the most extreme negligence on his part, which only became apparent as our professional relationship developed, and after I gained the fortunate perspective of receiving alternative, competent representation. To this day Mr. Palmer continues his refusal to credit my account for any of these disputed charges. Sadly, since that time I have learned of multiple former clients of Mr. Palmer who were similarly mistreated, e.g. Mr. Palmer billed for work that is not performed, did not prepare, and yet continued to bill his clients. Each of those individuals needed to hire subsequent counsel in order for their cases to be resolved, after the resignation or termination of Mr. Palmer. Because of this, I feel obligated by principles to, at the very least, make others aware of Newberg Law's unscrupulous business practices in hopes that these words of warning may prevent the chronic ethical deficit of Stephen Palmer from further injuring more unsuspecting individuals.

Recently my husband and I were going away on our first vacation in over a decade when it occurred to us that we had never put a will into place for our 3 children. Steve stepped in and helped us get our wills and poa's in place before we left on our trip, providing us and our family with extreme peace of mind & comfort. Steve is an exceptional lawyer .. very knowledgable. We highly recommend Steve Palmer.
