My son and I hired Ben for a legal matter regarding a bad investment we made in a local company. Ben helped us through the process to get our investment returned. Long story short, he was efficient, professional, available, and did a professional job. Ben returned our remaining retainer promptly when we closed our relationship. Mr. Ybarra communicates quickly and specifically, he is detailed and on top of things. He's been VERY helpful to me as a Landlord.

Great legal advice. Very knowledgeable. Called him to get some info in regards to a landlord/tenant issue. I called and left. Message initially and he was the one that called me back personally, and set up an appointment within a couple of days that was super convenient. Gave us really helpful advice and a plan as to what we should do next. I am confident that if we chose to use legal representation he would handle it great!

My review of Mr. Ybarra is based on two distinct experiences with him. First, I want it to be clear that I feel he does his job competently and with great integrity. For example, he promptly refunded me money from a small retainer I paid him when his billable hours were even smaller than the retainer. He also is prompt and professional about returning phone calls, etc. The second time I met with him, however, was with questions regarding a more intricate, personal matter and I left his office feeling dehumanized and as if I had wasted both our times. I would strongly suggest Mr. Ybarra if you have a very thick skin and/or no personal interest in your legal matter. However, if your legal matter is one that causes you any sort of human pain or anguish, my experience was that Mr. Ybarra seemed robotic and insensitive in his responses. The purpose of a review is for a potential consumer to get a glimpse of a possible experience to determine whether it is worthwhile for them. My personal feeling is that while Mr. Ybarra is definitely competent and honorable, he is also insensitive and brusque. You decide if that's for you.

Sorry old review 2015. Just looking for another attorney in 2019 then stumbled upon and recognized Mr Yrabba. I would not recommend him. All he had to do was write a letter to another attorney demanding a significant refund (That atty lost license by decree.) and he gave up after 1st try with a street address I told him ahead of time wouldn’t work. I guess I expected some initiative. He clearly expressed sympathy for my past attorneys conduct which led to a loss of license for that atty with the OSB. It was well deserved and public record. Me Yrabba was not comfortable. He wanted me gone and I was happy to leave. gr

Ben helped me settle an eviction case, setup our LLC and even drafted some business contracts for us. I have had nothing but great service and success with Ben. I will keep going back.

I have had to unfortunately work with several attorneys over the years of a long drawn out divorce. I happened to look Benjamin up for a simple spousal support garnishment. Benjamin took great insight and care to every detail of where I was at with my complicated unresolved divorce issues and was great at clarifying to me my options in my scenario and my timeframe that would have slipped bye and left me with unburiable debt. Unlike previous experiences with Attorneys, Benjamin dug deep, helped me work out and find important information, we worked together to make sure we were more than thorough. Benjamin wasn’t sloppy, forgetful or repetitive. He got more done more efficiently in half the time as my previous experience with Attorny’s. He is a great listener and actually absorbs, reflects and clarifies so he has a complete understanding. And was great at explaining legalities, options... but then was patient to explain clearly so I had a actual understanding for my choices. He even was able to find a couple other timely issues that I need to address. Even though I may have to seek specialized council for those areas, but helped point out how I need to take steps. Benjamin sunk his head into my situation and didn’t just draw up paperwork. He’s honest, hardworking to do everything right on your behalf in a very timely manner. He honestly has saved my life from catastrophe. I highly recommend! Dawn
