I had a consultation with Ben today and found him to be professional, but I have noticed a trend when contacting lawyers in Oregon. They tend to advise me to pay upfront without considering my financial situation. As a low-income individual, I feel this approach is misguided and potentially predatory. Especially since he’d gotten the $35.00 before we even did the consultation. it feels a little “PLANNED” by someone who feels they ARE TOO EXPENSIVE for small claims.

Ben’s a very knowledgeable attorney and I have enjoyed working with his office. I’d recommend him to anyone who’s looking for a straight-shooting professional that’s respectful of your time and money. I’ll continue to use him in my legal matters.

Doesn't seem to understand English, when you're asking for help. Doesn't know the word Pro Bono. Our apartment complex was trying to evict us. I pointed out several things that were against the law including fraud. I told him we didn't have money and were desperate for help. I guess he's all about the money, and not about upholding the law or helping people. Shocking! We were supposed to get an eviction notice on 01/08/24. Today is January sixteenth, no eviction notice, and! Our rent still isn't caught up! Why is that? Because the complex didn't have a case to begin with. Wouldn't it be nice if people with degrees, were actually smart! Worried about his own income. Even when the case is obviously a winning case. During the holidays no less. Sounds like a douche to me!

Under very stressful circumstances Ben eases the stress and helps make the process and you be as stress free as possible. Mr. Ben Ybarra was my attorney over the course of the last year. Unfortunately I had purchased a vehicle that had mechanical defects that were not disclosed at the time of the purchase. After 6 weeks of owning the vehicle the motor blew. Ben carried me through the legal process step by step with his professional demeanor and leadership.
