Wanted to share my experience with Jennifer Currin, a lawyer at this firm. I contacted her because I wanted to find new representation for a custody case. She had a nasty attitude and a very judgemental opinion about my case, even saying "I don't know if we will mesh" She honestly seemed like she was looking for reasons to dislike me and I'd even say she was vicious and snotty. She told me something potentially frightening about my case, when I told her another lawyer said that won't happen, she then recanted and said "oh if another lawyer told you that, then that's right!" She doesn't seem to know what she is doing or talking about, and she was hands down the rudest and most unprofessional attorney I had ever spoken with. She told me she wanted a $5,000 retainer for a case that may close because I moved. Then she said "I don't know why you'd give me a retainer if it's going to close" as if I dont need a lawyer regardless and she's not required by law to return the unused portion of my retainer. Even after all of that she scheduled me a consultation, I was in shock so I agreed but later canceled. First impressions are important, and my first impression of Jeniffer was so terrible that I am not even going to subject myself to further mistreatment.

Didn't even get to paying for a consultation thank goodness. She basically asked me why I would want to stand up for myself on a bogus parenting plan. He is in contempt monthly and she thinks I should just allow him to control and walk all over his children and the parenting plan. Definitely not for you if you need someone strong that will stand up for you and what you want or

I have never had contact with Ms Currin, but her firm has billed me repeatedly for a contact which never took place, on a matter which was settled without her assistance 5 months before the service they are billing for and 4 years after I fired a previous attorney with that firm. I have made repeated calls to the firm to tell them this bill was sent in error and nothing has been done. I cannot speak to her competence, but I certainly have no confidence in their office staff.

I tried to make an appointment to talk about estate planning. The lawyers make their own appointments and wouldn't even call me back. I called three days in a row and the receptionist delivered the wrong message to the attorney, who was never in the office and couldn't be bothered to call me back as promised. Save your money and go anywhere else!

Jennifer does NOT perform in the best interest of children as she claims is her mission and is the the whole goal for family court regarding children and their relationships with their parents and other family members. Jennifers only mission is to win at any cost which includes the cost of whats NOT in the best interest of the childfen, or considering the Negative long term effect she is causing the children to suffer because of her Manipulative Guidance that Is self serving to her winning Instead of considering what is best for the children. If you like a lot of drama then Jennifer is the one for you, If you want fair and honest representation you should look elsewhere.

Jennifer Currin represented me in family law and was my attorney for several years. From the beginning, we had to do all the work for her, but still charges full hourly rates. I was told from the beginning, I would never retain custody of my children, but because of all the work I put in, I was able to get sole custody. She knew I was depressed and felt bad for me, so she would call to check in on me. To my surprise, the phone call was on my statement from her and I was charged for her checking in. I was drug back into court by my ex wife, and was told again that there was no way I would get custody back. She constantly called my current wife and would say awful things about me to my wife, but acted like she was on my side to my face. She tried to get me to agree to things, saying the judge had made her decision already, all before court took place. I retained a new attorney, who is saying the opposite of what Jennifer said. I had a hearing and this was not the case. I feel that Jennifer Currin works with the opposing side. I feel that she is unethical and I do not recommend her for anything to do with family law.

I would not recommend her or her firm for family law. We had a horrible experience.

Gave her 1 star to leave a review ..she is not a good lawyer she got bought from the Baby Daddy's lawyer she didn't do nothing for me. She is not good! 👎
