Bronson James is the attorney that the Super 100 attorneys go to for expert legal advice. A noted authority in both Federal and Oregon criminal law as well as an expert appeal tactician Mr. James’ legal opinion is also asked for by Court Judges prior to their rulings. Mr. James was on the “short list” for consideration as one of Oregon’s state Appellant Judges. Justly earned as he successfully argued the 2014 U.S. Supreme Court case Riley v. California as counsel for the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the Brennan Center for Justice. In this landmark Supreme Court decision, national law enforcement officers now can no longer search cell phones without a court ordered search warrant based upon probable cause. I was fortunate to have Mr. James on my legal defense team as he was able to recommend and negotiate the best possible outcome for my case based on his legal acumen and professional reputation. I most strongly recommend Mr. James either as your primary defense council or to work with your primary defense council during trial to prepare the strongest appeal case if necessary.
