The best there is! I had gone with a different lawyer for my injury claim on the advice of a friend. Big mistake. After a year, nothing was done - and unbeknownst to me, I had signed a bad document that the lawyer forgot to warn me about, which cost me $25k of any settlement. Switching to Marc and the Johnston law firm was the best decision. Tonya kept me updated constantly during the process and was amazing. And Marc got me a settlement I didn't think was possible! From the first day I met Marc I knew he was the attorney for me. He was easy to talk to and confident. Marc defended me when I was T-boned in my car by another driver. My car was totaled and I fractured my neck. I sued the negligible driver’s employer who he was driving for at the time of the collision. The employer’s insurance company wanted to settle out of court but failed to meet us at an appropriate settlement until the day before trial. We stuck to our guns and the insurance company offered over double their best offer, which we were pleased with. We were confident in doing well in court and I think the insurance company knew that. Marc and his team did a great job at preparing me for the trial and even came to my house to better understand who I was and how this crash had affected my life. I was seen at the VA in Portland for my neck fracture. The VA had a lien on nearly $20,000 to cover my medical costs. A few months after the case was settled, Marc and his team was able to get the VA to drop the lien for the full amount! Needless to say I am very pleased with the outcome of the case and happy to have worked with Marc. Thank you Marc for making sure I was treated fairly by the insurance company.
