I was rear ended in a motor vehicle accident in December of 2021 and suffered a neck injury. I tried months of physical therapy and eventually connected with Joel Sturm and TUE. I can not even begin to describe the level of effort and concern they put into my case. Joel was present at doctors appointments, he constantly checked on me. The thing he said over and over was "Let's get it fixed, we can worry about other stuff later." The decision to eventually undergo surgery was left to me, and what I thought was best with the advice of the doctors. There was no talk of money and no pressure to settle the claim quickly. It eventually concluded in November of 2023. When it came time to take care of things Joel did an AMAZING job. I just stayed out of his way and let him use his expertise. When he called me to tell me what the settlement was, I didn't believe him. I thought he was pulling my leg. I made him repeat it three times. The job that Joel and TUE did was incredible. I wish the accident had not happened because of the pain and suffering that it caused. Even with physical rehab and surgery I am going to have some soreness and stiffness in my neck for the rest of my life, but because of the accident I met Joel and I am so grateful to him because he worked so hard to represent me and my interests. It was a blessing that I got connected with Joel and TUE.

A year and a half ago, I was hit by a car while crossing the street at an intersection. In shock, I was taken to the emergency room, where it was determined that I'd sustained a concussion and significant damage to my neck and hip. The following day, while I was still in shock and concussed, I began receiving calls from the insurance company of the driver. Their concern for my well-being sounded genuine, but thankfully, a friend suggested i contact a lawyer. David Eder was phenomenal right out of the gate. He immediately stepped in as my biggest, most outspoken advocate, and continues to be to this day. He placed himself between me and the insurance companies, hospital administration, and even my employer. He allowed me to focus on what I needed most; rest and recovery. David was able to get me started on physical therapy the day after his first call, and just as importantly, he ensured that I never saw a single bill for the myriad of treatments I received. When it was later determined that I would need spinal surgery, David again advocated passionately on my behalf. He negotiated with the surgical center, and again with the insurance companies. He continued to check in with me throughout the process, often feeling as much like a friend as a lawyer. When I first met with David, we had to sit in the lobby because I couldn't climb the short flight of stairs to his office. Eighteen months later, I feel better now than I did before the accident, and I know that this is entirely thanks to David and his team. I would not hesitate for a second to refer anyone to this firm. Joel, and his partners Ben and David Eder, sat with me ahead of time and educated me so that I was fully prepared for that deposition. Afterwards Joel negotiated with the attorneys for the insurance companies, and did a masterful job of laying out the consequences of them not agreeing to settle for the maximum amount of money possible. They agreed to pay the full limits of the policies which was gratifying to me in that it was fair, and it acknowledged the permanent physical damage with which I live. Joel, Ben and David are very experienced at depositions and trials and I would absolutely put my confidence in them again. I highly recommend them for their professionalism, expertise and kindness.
