I’ve known Joel since I got in my accident in April of 2022. The chiropractic office that I was going to pushed me to call him emphasizing that he would make sure I was taken care of - and they were completely right. The impact of my accident added so much stress to my already stressful life as a single, working mom who was in school at the time and is now a 1st grade teacher. I felt like I had been spread way too thin and was so grateful to have someone managing my case. He has always been communicative about next steps, responsive when I needed to get ahold of him, understanding when I myself wasn’t great at communicating, and he really fought for me. When the accident happened I didn’t know what to expect in terms of how much money I would be awarded. I was rear ended in a motor vehicle accident in December of 2021 and suffered a neck injury. I tried months of physical therapy and eventually connected with Joel Sturm and TUE. I can not even begin to describe the level of effort and concern they put into my case. Joel was present at doctors appointments, he constantly checked on me. They meet to go over the pros and cons of my case, including the medical options. Nothing was rushed. In December, 2019, I was rear-ended by a large utility vehicle and had to be taken to the ER by ambulance. I had a concussion, a jaw injury and symptoms of vertebrae injury. My car was totaled. I read good reviews about the lawyers at Thuemmel Uhle and Eder. Honestly, it’s hard to know based on reviews if the lawyers good or not. In retrospect, I wish I had hired Thuemmel Uhle and Eder right after the accident. I waited because I thought I didn’t need a lawyer. I was rear ended. It wasn’t my fault. But the other driver’s insurance company was not even willing to pay all of my medical bills. I would have never guessed that I needed lawyers ready to take my case to trial, but that’s what happened. Ben, Joel, David and Andrew clearly cared about my case. My lawyers put in hours of time with me to get me ready. We had meetings during the week and on weekends. Despite all the attention on my case, I was nervous about going to trial.
