I hired Todd, with borrowed money and informed him up front that I couldn't afford much. "Don't worry" he assured me "my assistant does a lot of my work" and when I asked her rates, they were much more reasonable. During the course of my case, I did not feel that Todd would be a good advocate for me, but of course that was after I'd already paid him a $2000 retainer (which for a single mom, isn't easy to come by) He kept reassuring me, and then at the last minute, by which I mean the night before our hearing, called me up and told me that I should just forget about asking for everything that I wanted and agree to what my ex wanted to get it over with. As if that wasn't bad enough, he keeps sending me bills for $1000 and when I asked for an itemized bill, none of the work was charged at his assistant's rate! Even more interesting than that, when I came to leave a review, I noticed that several reviews that used to be here no longer are. I can't imagine why a lawyer would want reviews of themselves removed from a website....
