I hired Michael to pursue a motion for early termination of lifetime supervision. He was personable, responsive and available when needed, throughout the process. Because my case had few precedents, Michael had to craft an original argument. The resulting motion was elegant, thorough, and compelling--such that the hearing itself was quick, drama-free, and successful. In addition, Michael employed good strategic thinking to the process overall. I do not hesitate to recommend Michael, and I will myself be using his firm for my future needs.

When my nephew was arrested and charged with a criminal offense and thrown in jail, our family was in shock. He was there as a tourist on his own, while I am in NYC the rest of the family overseas, and he made a mistake based on cultural differences and without bad intentions. We were scared and lost as to what to do and had to find a great lawyer. A friend of a friend gave us 3 names, and we called all 3, but ONLY ONE called back promptly on the Sunday - and that was Michael Levine (the remaining calls trickled in during the week). We were so lucky because over the next month he proved to be not only a competent lawyer but also responsive, communicative, friendly, and to my nephew he provided real emotional support to guide him and calm him throughout the month. The case was successfully dismissed and that was based on his legal work and filings, but I heard stories from my nephew about how in the courthouse Michael was friendly and polite to everyone, and he sensed that the people who worked there knew and liked Michael and were kind and cooperative in return. Michael was also very fair with the price, and in fact his initial quote was very modest so soon after we started we offered to pay him a higher fee just because we could see he was doing more work than anyone anticipated. And so all in all I'd say BIG THANKS to Michael and we would warmly recommended.

Three years after my case Mike continues to be a source of support and advice as I work to get my life back on track. I initially chose to work with Mike because he showed a sense of caring that I didn't see in other lawyers and my initial instincts were correct. He's a good man and a very good lawyer.

He is super easy to work along side with and takes your arguing point into consideration and applies them where he thinks they will be beneficial to your case.
