Mindy and her office staff were timely and responsive to my case when it came to my questions or other council's responses. She was very knowledgeable and inciteful to my legal situation, straight to the point and professional. Even when Mindy was in court, as a lawyer does, my case was able to move forward. We never met in person but that wasn't a detriment to my case. Very pleased with my outcome. Thank you Mindy and staff!

Ok, so I hired her for my Divorce because she presented well at our first meeting and showed empathy for my situation. However, that changed and she became very apathetic once we got under way. She also hired an incompetent QRDO person in which left me at a 250k loss. Not a positive experience at all. Choose very carefully.

She did an exceptional job handling my case. The moment I consulted with her, I knew my case was in great hands! I went through divorced and Mindy was recommended by a co-worker. She was very professional, consistent, and communicates effectively and efficiently. I didn't know anything about the divorce process and she walked me through it with so much knowledge and patience. She made me feel at ease each time we communicated and by the 3rd month, the judge signed the papers without any issues. I cannot thank her enough for lifting the stress off of me in dealing with the divorce. I am forever grateful.

In what would come to be the darkest days of my life, a true hero came into my world. That hero is my lawyer, Mindy Stannard. Ms. Stannard was referred to me by a dear friend. I sat my shaky self down to meet Mindy Stannard; wondering how on earth I was going to survive what would turn out to be a nightmarish divorce. I knew within minutes of meeting this calm, composed and brilliant Attorney that she was everything that I needed to get through this. Mindy Stannard will be my attorney forever, as far as I’m concerned. Her strategies, her creativity, and her tenacious drive to prevail- coupled with her deep concern that I was awarded the equitable settlement that my children and I needed and deserved, far exceeded all of my expectations as to what my outcome would look like. This was a complicated division of assets. Many moving parts. My ex husband had several attorneys working very hard to see to it that I received almost nothing from our 23 year marriage, our lovely home, our large farm, 22 acres of timber and the very successful business that he and I started together. Mindy assembled a team of the most respected business appraisers, lawyers that specialize in business, farm and timber values, and so much more. Pretty amazing, considering that Oregon is NOT a comunity property state! She saved me. Kept me calm. Helped me find my center of balance again. I chose her because I hired her for my divorce and she was exceptional. I was in a very contentious case over a custody matter and needed someone I could trust at my side. I felt like I was dealing with a different person: it was difficult to get answers from her, it was difficult to get advice from her and I felt like I was really alone and she was simply filing paperwork. This was an important matter and I lost BIG time. At one point, I confronted her about the apathy. She said, "if you don't like it find another attorney". She clearly had no interest in representing me and made no effort to hide it. I'm not sure why and I'm not sure what warrants treating clients in that way; I do know that I never warranted such treatment and I resent it.

I hired Mindy for my custody and child support. She was with me from the beginning until the end (even for modification). She is there for your best interest but at the same time she doesn't beat around the bush. What do I mean? Well, She doesn't sugar coat anything meaning if your request doesn't make sense she will let you know and give her expert legal opinion. She is very respectful towards other attorneys but makes her point. She answers your questions and concerns as soon as possible. You will not be disappointed if you hire her. I am happy with the outcome of my case.

Mindy is an exceptional attorney always looking out for her clients' interest. For me it was a big relief that she was not overbearing and did not pressure me into any kind of a decision through a very difficult time in my life.
