I have worked with Collin on numerous occasions. He is the epitome of professionalism. He listens, evaluates, strategizes, and executes effectively the first time. He has a great way about him when coupled with his effective results is the ideal combination. I highly recommend Collin.

Upon my retirement, I hired C. McKean to complete and file a basic QDRO for my pension plan. I even provided him with the form to complete and file, which I obtained from the pension plan administrator. He chose to do things his way and use his own QDRO form. During the next 18 months, he had to redo and refile the QDRO several times to correct inexcusable errors, and on each redo he had to request my DOB and SSN because he had lost them. In all, I have suffered 16 months of lost income! I presently live outside the US and have had to repeatedly contact him to ensure that he kept working. Now he refuses to even speak with me. I advise you to look elsewhere for legal counsel.

I am new to Oregon with a complicated WA/OR custody case. I found Collin to be very professional, astute and thorough. I have had a few legals needs and Collin made it is easy to understand and insure that we did what was best for my son and our family. I have a feeling that my past history will require more legal work and I am comforted knowing that Collin is in my corner.

Mr. McKean is highly intelligent, thorough, patient, experienced, strategic - the absolute best attorney! I consulted with him over a messy probate, where the opposing attorney was intentionally causing distractions, and he was able to pinpoint the real issue at hand. I hired Mr. McKean to handle my divorce case in 02/2107. My case was really complicated since I didn't know how everything works and I have seen a lot of lawyers, but none was able to help like Mr. McKean. Mr. McKean is kind and understanding person. At the lowest point ever in my life. I was going to go through a divorce. I did a lot of research on line and I reached out to Law firm McKinley Irvin. This turned out to be the best decision for me ever. I set up an appointment and was able to meet the next day with Collin McKean. I was in extreme emotional pain Collin McKean listened to me as I poured out my agony to him. I was unable to focus on anything except the pain and explaining what had happened in my marriage. It was comparable to having a red hot branding iron pressed on the bottom of my foot and explaining how bad it hurt. That was how I was at this first meeting and some other phone meetings as well. Somehow Collin would find a way to get the information he needed out of our conversations getting me to focus on the important issues as he calmly took hand written notes. Taking down key points and comments out of raw emotional jargon. After the initial meeting for the first time in a very long time I knew there was help on my side. She was always professional and accurate very patient and kind. My divorce was complex due to the high number of assets and the value. In the end it turned out better than I could have ever imagined. Divorce is a tragic experience however I am very pleased with the end result and believe it or not there is life after divorce.
