I write this review during the beginning of my case and totally unsure of what the outcome will be. Regardless, I know Ryan Scott will work as hard as he can to defend me in this case. In 2012 I found myself in jail and the police blotter for the first time in my life. Faced with 4 charges including felony drug possession and a measure 11 along with a few misdemeanors I had outed myself to my family and friends of the double life I had been living for over a decade. I won’t lie this was a scary time in my life as I was looking at a 7 year minimum mandatory sentence for the measure 11. The moment I met Graham his calm and cool demeanor helped to calm my anxieties. I put in my work and got myself into a faith based treatment days after I got out of jail while waiting for trial. This was a wake up call and I truly wanted a life change. Communication with Graham was fluid in every aspect in dealing with my case. Graham negotiated a suspended sentence for the felony drug possession meaning if I kept my nose clean for 2 years, completed probation with zero violations, and completed intensive outpatient through DOC then it would be dismissed. The measure 11 along with the 7 year minimum mandatory sentence was pled down to a theft in the 3rd with minimal jail time (and I do mean minimal for what it should’ve and could’ve been). Fast forward to 2020 I met with Graham once more but this time it was to complete the necessary paperwork to move forward with sealing and expunging the 2012 incident from my life. There is a lot of shame and guilt when going through something like this especially if it’s your first time, I never felt judged by or looked down on by Graham and that is something I truly appreciate. A felony or charge doesn’t have to be a life sentence. Thank You Graham for all the you’ve put into my case! I doubt I would’ve had the same outcome with a different defense attorney. I would absolutely recommend Graham Fisher!
