I’ve searched for years for an attorney that was aggressive and that I actually felt was working for me.Then I met Krista, who surpassed my expectations.She responded to my emails immediately, kept me updated on my case almost daily, made things happen quickly instead of dragging things out forever like I’m used to and never once suggested that I settle for less than I expected.I would highly recommend her and wish I would have found her sooner.

Lawyer Drew Anderson at Gilroy Napoli Short really assisted me in getting my court case dismissed. There's nothing better than getting the case dismissed. Attorney Drew Anderson worked with me diligently and proficiently during the difficult time, and I am very happy with the case dismissal. I am happy to re-unite with my family (wife and kids), working and having peace of mind. As a foreigner in USA, the case was a little bit cumbersome due to immigration status, Attorney Drew Anderson was able to work nicely with an immigration lawyer (David N Shamloo) to get advice on immigration perspective. Case got dismissed, and no deportation. I was also advised to take parenting classes which really helped me a lot (useful learning/knowledge/practices acquired). I'm putting this knowledge of parenting classes into practice to better myself and help my family. Leah Johnson was recommended to us for recovery from injuries received in an auto accident, and we are so glad we found her. She explained the process of litigation and recovery in a way that we could understand and kept us well informed throughout the entire process. Most of our contacts were by phone or emails due to covid19, but that did not cause any delays in getting the help we needed. In 2008 I was traveling through Oregon and was charged with DUI, possession of a controlled substance, and unlawful lane change (resulting in a collision). After I was released from jail on bail, I traveled back to my home state and inadvertently missed my arraignment hearing. As a result, a warrant was issued for my arrest. I hired an attorney in my home state to contact the DA and see if I could deal with the matter remotely. The DA responded by saying that I could not and I would have to present myself at the jail to begin the process of clearing the matter. Being young(er) at the time and not too interested in traveling across the country to turn myself into jail in Oregon, I decided to ignore it. 15 years later, embarking on a new career path that requires scrupulous background checks, I decided to deal with the matter. I contacted every criminal defense law office in the greater Salem area to see what I would have to do to clear the matter. Every single attorney I spoke to told me that I would have to come to Oregon, turn myself into jail, plead guilty to my case, and potentially serve more jail time (or if I was lucky, be assigned to community service). Upon contacting Gilroy Napoli Short Law Group I was given a glimmer of hope. Attorney Drew Anderson (a former prosecutor) spoke with me at length and in great detail about my case, asking questions that no other attorney I had previously contacted had mentioned. He told me that he believed he could get the warrant for my arrest removed so that I would not have to turn myself into jail. Further, he told me that he saw some strong arguments in getting my case “tossed out.” I was very skeptical as this was quite different information than I had previously received from every other attorney I had spoken with. Having nothing to lose, I hired Drew. He masterfully navigated my case for me, kept me out of jail, appeared in court on my behalf as I remained in my home state, and skillfully wrote complex motions to suppress evidence and ultimately dismiss my case. During this process Drew always took the time to update me every step of the way, making sure I knew exactly what was going on with my case. He answered a multitude of questions that I had and informed me what the next steps were going to be. Long story short, he got my case dismissed entirely. Facing criminal charges that have the potential to change the course of your entire life is frightening and unsettling. Drew (and the entire team at Gilroy Napoli Short Law Group) took my hand and navigated me through this tedious and anxiety-provoking process step by step. Words can not convey my gratitude for what Drew has done for me and I can’t speak highly enough regarding the professionalism and care I received from Gilroy Napoli Short Law Group.
